  1. My subscription auto-renewed on Steam yesterday and today my account was in "preferred" status. It's quite odd that's it's able to apply on the 1st month but the recurring sub doesn't apply. After spending 20-30 mins on the phone with support, I was told to email screenshots of my Steam profile and Steam purchases and was told (hopefully) that it would be resolved within 24 hours. Essentially, I'm losing 3 days of subscription time AND my own limited free time to call support, take screenshots, and now writing this suggestion. After speaking to friends and guild mates, this seems to be a common problem. I googled the problem and it seems that this is an ongoing issue for some time now. As someone who has worked extensively in customer service, this was a very big "UN-WOW" moment for me. I would hazard a guess that this is a significant percentage of your customer service contacts, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone seemed understandably exasperated by how often they deal with this. I can picture many people thinking that SWTOR/Steam stole their money and deciding to never play this game again. If Steam is not fully integrated/functional, you should not be able to make these types of purchases on there! Thankfully, I'm in a financial position where I was able to sub on swtor.com and wait for my other game time to be applied, but I imagine many are not that fortunate. TL;DR I think it's the game/community/company's best interest to remove purchasing subs/etc on Steam until it is fixed.
