Call it as you wish, it really doesn't matter.
Same way as it's not technically the same the price of X resource increasing due to lower Y currency value, as is the price of X resource increasing due to the closure of a major supplier, but the end result is the same, X resource now costs more in Y currency.
Market adjustment will be upwards, and probably not just for a few weeks.
Hypercrates and 5000+ CC things such as the dark honor guard unstable will most probably hover towards the 2-3b range because it will be the new "limit", the higher range for the expensive toys, and many things especially CC related will adjust in price accordingly, so forget about twisted fangs, defiant vented, unstable blades and some armor sets under 1b as we have been seeing currently at least in Darth Malgus.
In fact, credit limit should have been increased AT MOST to 1.5 - 2b, seeing as hypercrates were being announced for 1.5-1.8b in trade chat.
3b is just giving fresh air to a pricing that was starting to be choked out for good, and it may increase the amounts of credits burned per sale, but might as well plummet the amount of sales in total.
