Well they did just release a new patch. We're on b now. But I did just get a secondary 2gb patch today. Let's hope that was an actual patch.

Latest update: I've logged in about 10 times now and no more updates. Cross your fingers.

....And you continue to derail. Thanks. People refuse to install Steam because it's a system on a system to run a game. It's like adding an unnecessary middle man. I personally add only the minimal software to my computers, and since there are no games I play that even need Steam. That being said, I might consider installing it just to keep this from happening, assuming my old computer can even handle the extra resources needed to run it.

Had to download the big patch AGAIN!!! Wow, this makes like the 5th time in just a few days that I've had to download 35+ gbs upon login. Glad i have unlimited internet.

what in the world is going on with this game!? I'm having to download 36 gbs again!!! I'm about to cancel my subscription because this is really starting to piss me off!!!!!!!

I must have a Dark Side Hssiss fighting companion asap! I will gladly throw tons of Cartel Coins at you for this.

Update: Got the big 36 gb update again... I was really hoping it wouldn't come up again. Please fix this game! I'm getting tired of having to download this freaking patch every 3 or 4 days.

Update, I've not had to download again the last few logins. However, I did notice something odd. Anytime I execute the game launcher, it's been putting a text file on my desktop: host.developer.cef.c.gpu-process.log. Seems like when I delete this, I have to download the updates again. So I've left it on for the last few logins and surprisingly no updates. Why would this be needed? EDIT: I'm also not getting a mismatched version notice too btw.

Well, I had a day of no updates, but it's started back again. Had a 5mb or so update.

I run Windows Defender and that's it. I've made sure the exceptions for SWTOR are in there. I'll try just turning it off completely and see how that goes. BTW, I just tried logging in today for the first time and I got no updates needed. First time since the patch came out so I'll have to see how it goes the next few times.

Are you still having to download something every time you login after swtiching languages and back again?
