  1. Manageable and reasonable...... You're having a laugh. Or do you think the community has unrealistic expectations?
  2. That's a good point, but I can't see them doing that, I get the feeling that there is a duck and cover mentality going on. I suspect that they are planning to ignore it for 30 days in the hope it will sort itself out...
  3. Queues are ok if you are going to login and play for hours. Those of us who only have an hour here or there to play and find that the majority of that time is spent in a queue is fail. I understand the desire to release servers in stages so that the fill but it makes the queueing issue worse. Also, in the long run it may back fire, just think those eager beavers who pre-ordered first are on on set of servers, and people who didn't pre order will "hopefully" choose the lightly loaded servers. I think the servers will end up with rather different cultures. Either way, this stinks of someone not wanting to invest in more infrastructure than they can get away with, and we all suffer. I'm not planning on rushing through the game and I'm seriously thinking about not registering my key until the hype dies down. What's the point of wasting my free month sat in a queue.
  4. Well this is an epic fail as far as I am concerned. I have had 2 days of great fun (yes I got in on the first wave). But a 30 minute queue now, why should I pay for this? I understand the desire to fill the worlds up, but I think somebody in capacity management needs a kick in the nuts. I get an hour or 2 to play a night and sitting in a queue doesn't help, and yes I know it is the same for other MMO launches (doesn't help my ISP barfed on me tonight). So on a serious note, my 1 month free starts when I register, sould I wait a month and let things settle down before registering my code? or will Bioware compensate people for long queues?
