  1. Developers should just move progression/attention from gear to something else as much addicting and less penalizing for the whole experience. They should work on a system where people feel rewarded and are still able to brag if they are succesful in PvP. I really think almost everyone would be happy to have a lot more character and item customization options that wont affect stats as a reward for their PvP efforts. New systems and mechanics that play on intricacies between player factions, to allow smart players to have fun and make the battles much more interesting. Sometimes i feel game designers take the easy route not because of their lack of imagination, but since these multimillion dollar projects are forced to follow a safe way even if new ideas would clearly work and benefit the games.
  2. I play a lot of warzones and im actually surprised by the amount of teamwork i see even with pugs. I have both an imperial char and a republic one. Most of the warzones i play have very competent players, even the ones without a guild. I often see people guarding a node, calling for help, and in huttball i see a good amount of teamwork. You are either unlucky or your faction/server has a weird concentration of newbies to MMOs. Either way, the worst thing you can do is to rage in the wz chat. Try to help them and tell what to do in a polite way, it can work.
  3. My main is a level 50 sniper (which i have fun playing), and i also play a mercenary in his 20s. I recently made a sentinel and i have been leveling it basically only through pvp. From reading the forums i was expecting a nearly broken class which required two degrees to play remotely good; what i found was a class that is a BLAST to play by just being a little cautious and picky about your fights. Charging and fighting is a joy to watch thanks to the animations, and the burst you have on soft targets can be scary. Tl;dr Dont let the forum topics scare you, if you like frantic melee combat this class deserves a try.

    Why so few Snipers?

    Since i see how removing cover would change the class way too much, why not making it that when you use the portable cover you get cloaked, becoming invisible and being able to move slowly while crouched (until you shoot of course)? It wouldnt be unfair, it would make sense from a role perspective and it would at least make the whole system fair.
  6. I use the other cover. The bug i explained is different: you respawn in the cover animation, bugged, and whenyou move you see yourself sliding around crouched. ITs really..bad.
  7. I play a sniper (level 50) and i feel like the current situation is not acceptable; the class seriously needs an hotfix because there are gamebreaking bugs. I can deal with the cover not working around 20% of the times, but in voidstar there is a bug that prevents me from playing properly: Very often i get stuck in the cover animation and i see myself sliding around, unable to use half of my skills (the ones that require cover) because i simply cannot enter cover anymore. The funny thing? The bug persists through death, untill it randomly vanishes. The class already has several issues like many other people pointed out (less utilities, no real escape abilities, etc), but bugs like the one i just explained completely ruin the experience.
