I did a search but didn't see a post for this yet, so forgive me if there are some that I missed. Coould we please, please, please get some options to block the snow effect when people throw snowballs or whatever else? I know of many people who have complained about it because of the lag it causes for them, or they don't like the giant snowflakes, or several other reasons. I'm one of those who just doesn't like the effects around my character. Avoiding the areas where players are doesn't work because there are NPCs who throw them as well as players who camp areas just to tag whoever comes by. Also, players shouldn't have to choose between dealing with something they hate or avoiding playing parts of the game for a month. Even asking others not to do it results in many responding by immediately throwing them, so respect for ones wishes isn't an option. For those who think others should just deal with it, again a lack of respect. There should be an item that gives people the option to allow this or not, similar to the rakghoul vaccine. Call the item Heated Blanket or whatever, make it a quest that unlocks the item, or even a game option. However it's done, players should have the option to participate in events rather than have it forced on them. People shouldn't have to consider not playing for a month just to avoid something as basic as this. With all the targets available for those who want to throw the snowballs, this shouldn't cause enough of a hindrance to not be a smart implementation.
