This request goes against the developers vision for the game which is to leave it in a state that has the least reasons to play it or have fun in it. I cannot believe that a single developer that took part in the creation of 7.0 plays this game at all. They clearly have no idea what is or is not fun.

Turns out they did not make level syncing better in many cases. long thread going about for some levels its actually worse which means this type of content is going to be harder. the Revan battle is being complained about more often now also.

This. I came in a little under 2 months before 7 hit and the changes to the game were drastic enough to notice. While my experience in end game was limited as the lvl 70 I made via the token was only at 75 for a few weeks, what I can say clearly is that I do not like the current gearing system at all. I started to play this game because I was told its great for casuals and was not like a few too many other games that felt like a second job. That is clearly not the case now and there is no chance at all for me to get close to the top gear in game which is now only for those who work for the game via doing OPS. Sounds like a clear shift in who the developers are focusing on which is actually a little funny seeing as how low this games population is. Weird idea to make such a major change in the games basics with the games player situation.

Is that why they ignored it for the 6 months it was talked about on PTS before 7 was released? You can put me on the "Vote of no confidence" list in these developers being able to do anything to make this game better before the population loss is so great the game cant recover.

So, it matches the rest of the UI changes and everything said by the PTS testers went unheard because they never listen to feedback until after release and only if there is a major blowback that they dont mind actually changing.

If you dont know what a bot is, you have no idea how to fix this issue and should really stop asking to make the game worse while also leaving in the root of the problem which is the gearing system which made Tech fragments THE currency to get while also making GSF the easiest way to get it with little effort. Making it the way some elitists are saying to do it will not change the fact that people will ALWAYS take the road of least resistance to get what they want and the developers need to flipping make the **** they ruined, fun again, to allow for people to do other ****, to get these rewards. Also, the route people are asking for will only increase the MOVEMENT of BAD PLAYERS PLAYING BAD and make it take LONGER to realize that the group you are in is trash. As is, I can find out in about 30 seconds just how bad a team is in a deathmatch by how quickly noobs die, or in a dom match by not being able to take a single sat right away. Your way, they will fly around like chickens with their heads cut off, still not being able to get kills and it will take longer to realize how crap they are to then either quit for an extra 20 minute wait or start suiciding to end the trash match faster. You cannot FORCE people to get good at PvP when their heart is NOT IN IT...focus on getting Bioware to IMPROVE what they flipping broke, that pushed people into GSF when they DONT LIKE PVP. Seriously...jesus people, the issue is people are being pushed into doing what they do not want to do. Fix, dont ask to have even more broken.

Bioware needs to start firing key people and replacing them with those that understand the game is for players to play and have fun and knows not to mess with things that do not need changing. I would never list out how it can be done. With this current team of developers, risking them seeing it and finding a coming update where they nerf the **** out of it even more because they believe it shouldnt be that way, that it should feel like having a job instead of playing a game...this team is hell bent on making this game as unfun and as tedious as can be so I would answer with "you find your best way and keep it to yourself".

Now you got the game you got. A game where people are pushed into content they do not want to do. THAT, is the issue. And guess what? For those of you that DO NOT ACUTALLY THINK...All it takes is to create a generic email account, open up another account, set a BOT to run it and watch the second account do what you hate while the prime account just flies to the second for easy kills in some corner of the map. One team ends still gets screwed and the person cheats the award system. It wont happen as often but it will still happen and your actions ONCE AGAIN wont fix the ACTUAL PROBLEM which is the current CRAP SYSTEM that is causing this.

The game cant be DEAD, its still going with some people playing. It IS dying though, the population is dropping and that is not opinion, that is fact. In fact, there is only TWO months on record with lower numbers and the break in between them was their ending the player referral program which got a bunch of players to re-sub one more time for a money boost off of referral links. Also, those numbers are still dropping. Watch, next week the numbers will have dipped yet again. This game is not in a position to lose too many players, its barely making a profit as is which is why the games development has trickled down to near nothing with an "expansion" with just a few hours of actual content.

What a load of nonsense. Did you even play this game? All MMOs have inflation issues. It comes from people having too much money and not enough things to spend it on. P.S. The new gearing system is by far the worst this game has seen. It helped sucked the fun out of the game while making it so only the elitists get the best gear. If I wanted to play an unfun game that required you to lose your life playing with a large group of elitists doing large time consuming content I would be playing World of Warcraft not SWTOR.

You keep everything you buy when it comes to strongholds. So, buy them all if you want just make sure you open the rooms up before your sub ends as most of them cost over 1 million each. Also, enjoy the +150% conquest point bonus once you hit it!

Yes. 10 year old game. Low population. Who would think its a good idea to make such radical changes risking driving away many long time paying customers in hopes to pick up a tiny amount of people wanting to play an MMO on a portable device? Jesus...just because it exists, does not mean its good for the game. And the players have already spoken. Steam numbers are back to December numbers and still dropping every single week and the complaining about this horrible update has not slowed down.
