  2. Hello. A month and some time ago I bought 2 month subscriptions for SWTOR. I played almost every day since then and here are some observations I want to share. I created jedi guardian character and started from the beginning. The game is fairly easy to play and fast to level-up. There is a huge cash shortage at first but that is good because it is the only challenge you have. Even heroic missions (up to 2+ - missions you can play and win solo) are not difficult only time consuming. Space combat missions with your ship are not worthy of one single word. I was not interested in PVP, joint missions, operations etc. It becomes boring (and repeating) very quickly, but it’s the MMO, so that’s normal. Story and progression was OK. I took time and leveled my character to max even before facing sith emperor and of course I had equipment upgrades to my level and above. My favorite companion Kira was developed up to 30+ influence level and all others above 15. I did not expect to loose them all, well OK, I got Lana and we started from 1. You are always 5 steps behind even when you know what they are going to do, ail right. Even your companion sometimes comments that she would like to be one step ahead just once. There is one extremely annoying thing: every little boss is immune to my powers and is tossing me around like toilet paper. Out of 6 star fortress veteran missions I died twice fighting final boss because he or she (don’t remember) tossed me 10 meters in the air and over very large fence to the abyss. It was not bad up to the part when Arcan took the throne. After that player is particularly dumb idiot, always 52 steps behind. Every victory you get is a pyrrhic victory. Every time I had a chance to fight Arcan, he could not scratch me, and every time I lose with a choice to chose different cutscene. Why I have to lose for the story when I won? When I win why do I have to flee? Let Arcan flee. Make another cutscene where Arcan is running for his life, he was beaten after all. The same with Veylin. And they are both made mad dictators who killed entire worlds, with you absolutely powerless to stop any of it. The only satisfying moment I had from there is a chance to kill Scorpio (which I did with great satisfaction). A mad robot who wanted to be free over billion dead bodies. I don’t even understand how could be an option to let her go after what she did, but there has to be an option to be a stupid jedi, a single person, a jedi to forgive genocide because of stupid jedi code - well that’s light side to you. I don’t want to write anything about those missions, except for one - the one where you go to Veylins party. I could not believe it - this is the most stupid suicide mission ever. You go to the hart of Veylins power at her party to do what? Kill her - you fail to do that as expected. For a TV interview - to tell her people that she is a mad dictator - the fact that nobody knows and fears. She can not sense another force user near by? And after all, you escape while she bombards her own world potentially killing millions - Theron said: mission successful? After I took the throne and become emperor, guess what - Battle for Iokat, where you, the most powerful, bow to the empire or to republic and become their lackey again. No one even call you Emperor. They are all there to give you orders and the Emperor, the most powerful being in the galaxy is there to willingly obey and play pawn again. I don’t want to be a pawn; I want to kick them all out of Iokat. Where is my army, where are my Zakul knights, where are my skytroopers? I was looking forward for a chance to kick both the republic and the empire in the a... What a disappointment. It had a potential to give to player a feeling of how it is to be the most powerful in the galaxy... I played Iokat up to a point where some scion told me that I have to ascend to be a god?!?! Not interested in becoming a god so I skipped that part and went to the last adventure Jedi in trouble or something like that. I spoke to Lana, chose Republic side and after that Lana is not my selectable companion any more. The only one I developed 30+ influence. Again - why? I finished everything but that god operation on Iokat. And that was the last drop, I decided to say goodbye and uninstalled the game. How is this game become so pathetic? Goodbye. PS: This is my personal opinion and possibly some suggestions.
