  1. I'm quite a new player to SWTOR currently grinding to get Legendary Player, but I want to take my time and try to enjoy the content and story. I would play FP when I want a break from the class stories, so I can level up and get good gear. It's really annoying now I can't do that until I complete the class story. I know the flashpoints are still there but it honestly feels like content is being taken away rather than given to us. (Not to mention the Death Knell armour I've been grinding for and finally managed to get a week before the update. Now the armour's effects don't work making all those tech fragments I grinded and millions of credits I spent practically a waste)
  2. Hi, an update if anyone is curious: Everything seems to be fixed. I stopped playing back in October because of the issue. but have redownloaded it through steam instead of directly through the website. Not sure why that worked. Perhaps it just needed to be reinstalled. Been playing for a bit and seems to be okay and at a consistent solid 60fps Thanks for all the suggestions and help guys; I learnt a lot about computers throughout all this. It's much appreciated. Thanks
  3. Will give that a shot, thanks
  4. Alright. Will have a look on there. Thanks for all the help
  5. Is there anything I can do about that?
  6. That sounds more plausible. I got Bullguard AV, I've had it since I got my PC as it came with it. Not sure how relevant this is but it comes with a game booster feature where it optimizes games as they run. Do you think this could be part of the issue?
  7. Also, to add a bit more confusion to this all, I tested other games to see if I had the same issues. Apex Legends I had the same issues on, but I had no issues at all on GTA V. When I was playing GTA, the frames were stable and GPU wasn't dipping up and down like on Apex and SWTOR. Complete opposite experience
  8. Just tested whilst playing, the temps were 50 degrees (centigrade).
  9. Perhaps, though the issue stays the same when the graphics set onto "very low" and "ultra"
  10. Looking at the AMD and the Msi Afterburner, the temperatures seem to be okay. Do you think dust is causing this issue? There's some dust within the PC on some of the surfaces.
  11. Everything seems fine with the Heatsink fan (it's in there securely and is running well), do you think dust could've caused this? There's some dust in the PC
  12. Hi, I recently moved and ever since using my PC here at the new place, I've been having huge issues with my frame rate. My internet is fine, I've reduced the graphic settings to the lowest and still have the same issues. I'm also having this issue on other games as well. My frame rate is quite unstable and goes from 200fps down to single digits then back up again. I haven't had this issue before moving; I've only had this PC for almost 3 months. From the Radeon software on my PC it looks like a GPU bottleneck as the GPU jumps up to 80 - 100% then down to 0 then back up to normal, then repeats, but from all the fiddling I've done with the settings nothing has worked or made the issue by any means better. I had this issues yesterday, but it went away when I updated my drivers, but came back today. Would be nice to hear everyone else's thoughts. Thanks (My CPU & GPU: CPU: i5-10400F Six Core (2.9Ghz) 12MC cache Graphics Card: 4GB AMD Radeon RX 5500XT)
