  1. Apparently there are two terminals now (was the other one introduced recently?). The one in the NE corner still gives "you are not eligible" message, but the one that you see when you arrive to the planet has all the missions available. EDIT: talking about the KL weekly area.
  2. Treek's been nerfed to the ground for a long time, unfortunately. I believe right now the best DPS is Shae thanks to her aoe attck, best heal is Zoom again thanks to her AOE, and the 2nd best in everything is Altuur but you can't have him if you haven't played the 1st season. Not sure who's the best tank since the only time I play with a tank companion is when there's a GS objective for it.
  3. Why am I not surprised? When they nerf something they do it without a hitch, but when they try to give something in return it doesn't work as intended... And yeah, it means that I confirm that it doesn't work my alt either, I went there on my agent to work for two GS objective at once and naturally couldn't do that.
  4. What I can see in my lvl 80 character that hasn't finished Ilum(with 150% SH): there is infinitely repeatable 5k "Mission: Heroic" (that I believe applies to any heroic though I didn't test it) and the old daily "<planet name>:Heroic missions" that reward the same 5k. So you should get 10k for the first heroic on a planet and 5k for the other ones on the same planet, which is the change I approve even though I don't really grind heroics anymore because I did them like a million times already. The KL daily area weekly is 27k, the Manaan and Ruhnuk weeklies are the same 27k but they appear only on the characters that reached that areas so even that doesn't work as promised. EDIT: checked it on a toon that finished Manaan but didn't do Ruhnuk. KL is in the list, Manaan is there, Ruhnuk isn't there. I wish they'd've spent time actually fixing things instead of finding the ways to "improve" the game...
  5. Don't give them ideas... Though I'm sure an "effective manager" already took it under consideration.
  6. As I said in another thread, the only vote the decision makers would listen to is the vote you make with your wallet.
  7. The infinite heroics is a welcome change indeed, or rather a welcome fix to the unwelcome fix of the one-time-per-planet which they introduced in 7.0. Not so sure about the free access to the new daily areas (who'd want to grind them for nothing now anyway?), but I don't see any harm in that either and it's always good to have a choice so it's a welcome change from me as well. But it still doesn't fix the initial problem: instead of listening to the community and reversing the unwelcome change they just gave us more grind options.
  8. As it was stated many times already, those tokens didn't magically appear out of nowhere, you had to work to get them. Imagine you come to get your paycheck, and the boss says "Oh, I think you've earned too much for too little effort, so instead of 45k you get 8k. What, you say you need to pay that rent that we doubled some time ago? Ok, you can do the double shifts now to compensate". This is what your proposed changes sound like. To give an example, I have been saving some Iokath reputation tokens I got back then when I wasn't yet bored with Iokath daily area for a case when I need them, and those tokens did take some time to get. And now you're telling me that those checks I've earned worth 20% of the promised value because you think it's too much.
  9. This. If a rep track belongs to a daily area that has a weekly CP objective then it's likely to be completed already, same goes for the GS rep tracks for all seasons that had an achievement for maxing it out during the season. As it was stated several times, these rep tracks don't just magically fall into your inventory, you have to work to get them. I personally haven't finished the new Manaan, Ruhnuk and KL areas: they are boring, time-consuming and full of spongy enemies, and the only CP reward was the "do two quests there" daily and the rep reward which is now nerfed. KL still has some incentive in a form of that mount drop from the world boss, but once I have it why'd I waste my time on it for practically nothing?
  10. It would be good. Unfortunately the only thing that was being buffed since the launch of 7.0 is the PVP and GSF stuff, most of the PVE conquest was nerfed by half or even more. That is the biggest problem: they keep nerfing pve things but give little to no alternatives. The new area dailies are not worth it with the time required to do them and with the rep gain practically removed, the fps queue times are quite long if you're not playing in the peak hour, the operations require a premade group which is again a time investment for not that much gain and if your guild don't run them you need to be lucky to catch one forming on the fleet. I don't actually think that the rep nerf has anything to do with the season: if you intend to finish the seasons on the other servers you need to do at least some of the objectives, and usually by doing so you accumulate enough cps to do the 200k objective along the way. No, to me it seems as yet another effort to herd people into doing the content they don't like to do, namely PVP and GSF, which hurts both the PVE players that either don't do it or just afk there and angry the PVP players due to that afk'ing or lack of skill.
  11. Let me tell you a story from the days before, when I played World of Warcraft. They gave the players ability to fly and the flying mounts in the first expansion, at that time only for the expansion's area but eventually they spread it to every area, of course you'd have to jump through some hoops to get it but everyone could fly. Somewhere around 2015 someone of the "effective managers" persuasion decided that it's no good: the players would fly over all those nicely placed annoyingly spongy trash mobs and do a quest in 5 minutes instead of 30, so they declared that there will be no flying, period. The players decided that they didn't agree, and the active subscription numbers hit the bottom. One month later Blizzard "changed its mind". Of course they later invented some tight hoops to jump through to get it in the new areas, and I stopped playing few years later so I'm not sure what the current state of affairs is, but the bottom line is: vote with your wallet. The only thing they really care about is your money, and not getting it is the only thing they can understand. Don't get me wrong: I'm sure that the company's representatives here on the forums actually care and do what they can but I doubt they make the decisions.
  12. It still drops on the highest level if you're lucky, but most of the drops now are from that useless gear list which you can neither deconstruct nor sell to the vendor.
  13. I noticed that too one one of my toons. Didn't think to screenshot it. I can confirm that as well, instead of granting 10K+ promised in the conquest objectives I was awarded the base 3800. So they couldn't even implement correctly these new objectives that are supposed to "compensate" for the rep CP nerf...
  14. And before that it was for any toon at the top level, which was 75 at the time. Low levels have plenty of daily PVE things that the high levels don't: level up, 5 levels up, taskmaster, taxi... Reputation was for levels >50 and it sort of balanced it, but not anymore. Anyhow, the heroic nerf was just one of the examples of the trend of nerfing the PVE conquest and buffing the PVP.
  15. So, first you removed the 5k CPs per heroic that was there during 6.x and made it once per planet instead, then you nerfed the star fortress weekly CPs and buffed the PVP/GSF, and now you've nerfed the reputation. And the reason for the latter is "everyone was doing it, so we don't want you to do it anymore". You do realize that PVP/GSF provide much more conquest points but somehow they are not among those "many points you get"? Is it your intention to force everyone into doing PVP? Well, in my case it just means that I don't care about jumping through your hoops anymore, it's too much effort for very little fun.
