I know this is about 4 years after this discussion, but I want to say it anyway. I have reviewed loads of strongholds and flagships in SWTOR and very few of them (if a stronghold raid/invasion ever took place) would be able to defend themselves against an attack. Only about 2 weeks ago, I purchased the Tatooine stronghold, fully decorated it and put in there 256 soldiers. Funny thing is, you don't really notice it!
