  1. No your statement is pretty elitist and that mentality is literally why I don't pvp here, and actively discourage my guildmates and friends from trying it out, to save them the trouble. I thought I was used to toxicity from other MMO's but this game really has it the worst. It's not as if it's just one or two bad apples, but legitimately the "nicest" people I've met in pvp are only the ones who haven't said anything yet. Otherwise it's nothing but bad apples with actually zero good ones (across 11 queues totaled over 3 days). Combining that with a lack of any real endgame, probably going to enjoy the last of my 2nd months sub and call it there.
  2. I tried pvp the other day at 75, quite literally the most toxic and irredeemably unpleasant experience I've had in this game. Incredibly small, elitist community, nothing of value will be lost tbh.
  3. So ultimately the only reward for doing the hardest tier of content compared to the easiest tier of content is the feeling of accomplishment and different stat distributions on the same ilvl of gear? Sounds like this games design/philosophy towards raiding and pve is not what I'm looking for, oh well plenty of content other than just raids to enjoy, haven't even gotten further than chapter 4 interlude yet.
  4. I'm fairly new to the game, about 4 weeks now and still within my first 30 day sub period, and I've just discovered that veteran FP's can give gear up to item level 306, which is neat, but apparently the hardest raids available to progression guilds also reward 306 ilvl. Is this a recent change or has it always been like this? I'm not sure what the benefit or purpose is to harder content if the rewards are effectively the same, it sounds like there are parts of the story that are wrapped up in operations, which is neat, but I feel like there has to be something I'm missing if the hardmode raids give the same ilvl at normal dungeons, can anyone explain?
  5. I like the effect that flairs give around peoples icons when they're targeted/in your party, but the flair effect next to the nameplate is really jarring and distracting, is there any way to disable it? Otherwise I'd rather just not use a flair at all
  6. It just says "Gives a chance to loot Galactic Starfighter and space mission components from standard mobs" So do I like.. get a set of that and go quest or something? I'm not sure what it means or entails
  7. How do these work exactly? Am I guaranteed crits if I have a full set of crafting amplifiers and a high level companion? Or is it a multiplicative crit rate where ~90% crit chance is Base*1.90? Unrelated Question - whats the starship bounty proc amplifier actually do? I can't seem to find much on it
  8. Shae is best companion because accountwide / level 1 and also Mandalore ;/
  9. I started playing on 10/24 and realized I missed out on basically the best companion, makes me want to cry because it doesn't sound like she will be available again (or for another 2 years, so basically gone anyways) truly heartbreaking to see the best companions locked behind such scarce events, even moreso to miss it by only 2-3 weeks. I too, lose Shae
