  1. Well, I hope this helps but I came here looking for a solution and then a thought struck me, equip the full set. I can confirm that only by doing this will the full Mythran Hunter set unlock account-wide for all of your alts. Hope this helps for anyone coming here for a solution.
  2. The problem I'm noticing is that if the weeklies will be divided between the free players and the subscribers. I'm a perpetual subscriber but that the free players might feel left out in the process. What kind of ratio is being done to ensure that free players aren't being left out. I should also note that there are a lot of players who don't like the weeklies because of how difficult it is to get a team together for those Ops that are required to do in order to complete it. There are quite a few weeklies I skip over because of how difficult it is to get a random or guild team together for them. Scum and Villainy, Terror From Beyond are just two examples. How about adding more weeklies that allow players to run multiple SM Star Fortresses and Flashpoints. Everything seems to be built on Veteran Mode, which puts a lot of players off.
  3. What's going on with this download? It began with 11GB that it said it was downloading. When I checked it just a little while ago, it said 26GB. Exactly how large is this download? Because if those were two different downloads, then this is already 35GB in size. Exactly how is this patch file so massive?
  4. The Dev Tracker: https://www.swtor.com/community/devtracker.php
  5. Confirmed for me too. It's stuck. Guess the patch didn't go as intended, huh? This is NOT the way.
  6. It will take too much to post all of that but my alt is Level 75, Item Rating 306 across the board, augmented and the flashpoint is a complete disaster. I've given up on trying to complete it because BioWare won't fix the flashpoint. I'm convinced they are taking a cue from Rockstar Games and want to do away with solo content. Judging by the other responses here, others have expressed the same concern. If someone who is Level 75, Item Rating 306, can run and complete every Flashpoint previously, and they still can't complete Spirits of Vengeance then it's a problem with the Flashpoint and NOT the players. To make matters worse, you can't run Secrets of the Enclave until you complete SoV and I suspect that you won't be able to run future flashpoints either until you complete these two.
  7. I'm pretty sure you should be able to because I had a former guild member help me out with a chapter mission, I think it was Fallen Empire, and I received the completion for it, even though I had help in a team. I'm pretty sure that Flashpoints would work the same way. But, even if Bioware tweaked the Flashpoint, it is still impossible to do or complete when you're solo. I'm sufficiently geared for Flashpoints and I keep getting stomped. There are a number of different bosses in the game but those regular NPC mobs that are placed almost every 10 feet on the ship, they hit like those bosses with the bright sun next to their NPC name. Let's not get started on the actual bosses themselves. IT almost feels like you're fighting a worldboss, SOLO.
  8. There is a major different between passing through a green field to fight in an area. But the Spirit of Vengeance is simply way too overpowered for a solo player, unless you have 300+ augs on your weapons and armor and you have high end weapons to take them down. Most players don't have that. I'm able to do flashpoints through objective meridian, with some difficulty, but they're able to be completed. The SoV just feels like it's stuck on Master Mode, from the regular NPCs to the bosses themselves.
  9. I'm surprised that the developers haven't fixed this stupid Flashpoint yet. Storymode feels like the difficulty is stuck on Veteran or Master. I've tried it s number of times already and have simply given up on trying to complete it. It feels like the devs created that Flashpoint with the specific intent on forcing players to do that FP in teams.
  10. I have to admit I've given up on trying to do Spirit of Vengeance as well. I can't count how many times someone has told me "it's playable if you want to run it solo" but I hate to say it, it is still not playable, despite the protestations that it's been fixed. The regular NPCs are still way too overpowered and they hit like mini-bosses, the jumping across the firepit on the ship is insane and it's impossible to do it without a team. Not to mention the fact that you can't run Secrets of the Enclave without completing Spirit of Vengeance. The FPs before SoV were challenging but they are playable if you're sufficiently geared. But, even the storymode for Spirit of Vengeance feels like it's jacked up to Veteran Mode.
  11. I'm at a loss over this. Yesterday, I purchased a few items from the Spoils of War vendor. What I'm annoyed about is that the vendor took my tech fragments but refused to give me the item. It said that I have purchased 'item" but doesn't drop it into my inventory (where it's supposed to drop), Not only that. But, I've tried looking in my cargo bay, legacy cargo bay, even my mailbox. Even tried logging out and exiting the game completely. It just doesn't work. Does anyone know what's going on with the game or if this is a bug? I'm afraid to use the Spoils of War vendor because of this.
  12. The Emperor Slots are still broken. I'm starting to wonder if this is some sort of delayed April Fool's Joke.
  13. Thanks for that info. I had asked this because I'm getting conflicting comments in the game from other players. One said that last weeks patch was supposed to fix it, another said this week, another said that the event had been extended ... so you can see where my confusion was. I thought maybe someone on the forums might be better informed about it.
  14. I'm aware that the developers were working on the issue but this issue doesn't seem to be getting fixed. First few days, it didn't work at all. Then, one day last week, it worked for an hour or two and crashed again. It's been a week since the event went live and it still remains broken. Has EA or Bioware a timeline on when the event will be fixed? I get the feeling that it will get fixed on the day before the event is over.
  15. The only problem is that you can only hold a maximum of 10,000 Tech Fragments. Good luck in trying to hold more than that. Which makes the 24,000 tech fragments kind of ridiculous, since your account cannot hold that many. Not unless there is something I'm missing.
  16. It seems that the Emperor's slot machine has crashed again, on all instances. Does BioWare plan on fixing this problem?
  17. Pardon me for being a little clueless but quite a few of us have tried looking in game and we can;t seen to find this mysterious "Emperor's Grace Slot Machines" anywhere in the casino. Nobody knows where it is or what it is. Has anyone seen it? Because nobody has a clue. It's supposed to be a new item for 2020 but there is no information on it.
  18. A lot of players in-game have been complaining about it as well. Thing is, it serves no real purpose. All it does is act as a redirect to other content menu windows in the game itself. The Galactic Guide is a redundant feature.
  19. The problem is that after you complete Onslaught and run the Meridian Flashpoint, the cutscenes play through but there is no additional content past that. It's hinted at by Scourge and Kira Carsen that Satele Shan has led a team to the Emperor's final weapon (his physical body) and that Satele Shan and her crew have become infected or something like that and their ship was sent on an orbital path but has become lost. I've seen youtube videos where players have been able to run through that mission but when you go to look for it, there is nothing to allow you to access that mission. The final cutscenes play out like some sort of cliffhanger.
  20. What I hadn't realized, or noticed, is that the slots in any given item are what was contributing to the "Key Stats" for the damage the armor. If someone had posted that above, my apologies for reading right over it. I was simply looking at the core stats and didn't really grasp the stats of items. Clobber my head with a bludgeon and I start to get it. I just thought that the 'Key Stats' for damage on weapons were baked in. The only thing I'm still vague on are the slots in an item. That I understand that unless an item has a pre-existing slot in it, that it's not possible to add one. If I'm wrong, please correct me on this.
  21. Well, according to the responses here, the items on the CM are not able to be upgraded. From the way I understand it is this: if the item does not have a slot for Barrel, Mod, Enhancement, etc., then there is no item you buy an item or acquire an item to create that particular slot on the item, whether it drops in-game or whether you purchase it in store. items purchased on the CM are mostly for cosmetic purposes only, even if they have stats (with the exception of consumables or unlocks This seems to be the all-around answer I'm getting in-game and from here on the forums. It mostly comes down to "if you don't see it on the item, then you cannot change it". The only stats that seem to be able to be modified to the item are only those that come from a Mod, Enhancement, Armor or Barrel. If the item does not have that slot, then it can't be done. My original question was if Key Stats (the actual damage range of the weapon) can be modified or upgraded and if the "armor range" for equipment could be upgraded. It can't. That the stats are 'baked' in and there is no modifying those stats or upgrading those stats.
  22. Thanks for explaining this to me. While it makes a sort of sense for the weapons and equipment that drops from enemy NPCs, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for the items on the Cartel Market. I would assume that Bioware would want to entice players to buy items from the CM but, from what I keep hearing in the game, and what has been posted here, it's simply not possible to upgrade the "Key Stats" or to add so called "Mod" or "Enhancement" slots to an item unless it's already present in that item. It seems that the majority of weapons and armor are useless unless and not worth using in combat within the game. This may be over-simplifying it, it just doesn't make a lot of sense. Looking at it as a new player, the Cartel Market seems to exist to generate revenue for Bioware but if the items are not upgradable, it doesn't entice new players to buy those items. I asked a similar issue regarding the "armor sets" or "costume sets" that are available for sale. I would just assume that the items would have some way of being upgradable, if you're buying them off the CM. Thanks, at any rate, for explaining this out.
  23. Let me say that I've been enjoying Star Wars: The Old Republic ever since I replaced my old desktop with a newer one that could run this game. Having the time of my life. There have been a lot of players in game who have been helping me with the learning curve and some of the information I've been getting here on the forums has been very helpful. The one thing I haven't been able to find anything out about is specific information related to upgrading weapons and adding modifications. What it boils down mostly is the "Key Stats" that are provided for any special weapon or piece of armor. Others, in-game, have told me that it's not possible to upgrade or modify the "Key Stats" (whether that's the damage inflicted by a weapon or the armor value of your equipment). That the only way to get equipment that can do more damage or that provides a higher armor value is to either grind for them in-game or by doing Flashpoint missions. I'm also being told that unless an item already comes with the aforementioned slot, that there is no method of adding slots for "Barrel", "Mod", "Enhancement" or 'Tuning". I thought I would ask here, since most everyone I've been asking are relatively new players. Maybe somebody who has been playing "Old Republic" for longer could help me out with this.
