What they could do though, is acknowledge when there's a problem, even if it's not one they can fix. Tell the customers not to keep trying and hammering the login servers or something. An announcement that there is an issue beyond their control and that they are aware and monitoring... It wouldn't make it quicker, but it would generate good will, and would cost them nothing.

Not a clue. I couldn't find anything on the site here, and loads of people in my guild have the same problem. The SWTOR Twitter has said nothing either... likely they don't even know there's a problem yet.

It appears to depend on where you are. I'm in the UK and can't reach anything, like you... But there do appear to be people happily online and streaming to twitch.

Still a problem after today's update.
