  1. Of course it could. Just because it could does not mean it should as that would involve several man years of work and not add anything new to the game except making it look more pretty.
  2. I could (now play along with this).... Transfer character to another server Create character on original server Transfer back and get a forced character rename I'm honestly at a loss as to why they have cooldowns on renames unless it has a historic reason (griefers who rename maybe to avoid reports)?
  3. If I am willing to cough up the 1,000 fee then I should be able to change my name as often as I want without this 30 day cooldown.
  4. With the transfer of studios I suspect that there may be an "expansion" announcement in 2024 but not the actual expansion.
  5. I get this crash each time I modify an outfit but ONLY if I have "Activate Outfit on Modification" selected. If this is not selected I do not crash.
  6. Each time I modify an outfit with the "Activate Outfit on Modification" enabled I crash to desktop and the crash reporter runs. If I deselect the "Activate Outfit on Modification" then I do not crash. No issues with swapping between created outfits - only with saving modifications.
  7. Rehashing old textures is something that is done when there is spare time and nothing else to do - something that I doubt will happen for the small team here. At the same time there would be a riot by some if they thought time was being “wasted” instead of creating new content on a more regular basis. The classic no win scenario.
  8. Probably why Kai was last seen being hauled away by men in suits and now replaced with a much easier to control droid.
  9. Not quite sure how I feel about this.... I have eight characters - one for each origin story. For the Jedi/Sith their first combat style is guardian/jug sage/sorcerer and the second is shadow/assassin. On the other classes the first style is gunslinger (because I love it) and the second scoundrel. With field respec this allows me to bypass all the boring mobs that grant no conquest points when in open world. When the styles were launched they were pretty adamant that there would not be a chance to change them - you even get asked I think three times if you are sure because it can't be changed. Now I understand that people may want to change their style of play over time but if the developers were to introduce that they would have to rework the second style mission also to take that into account. The price would also have to be high enough to make this a thing people seriously have to think about - like in the region of the Master's Datacron high. Also a 30 day cooldown on it per toon.
  10. The system does seem to do its best to force you into flirting at times.
  11. It might help people if you said if you were wanting an Imperial or Republic guild as it kinda makes a big difference.
  12. If they are going to "fix" it are they also going to compensate everyone who has purchased the mission also?
  13. We are suffering from companion bloat. Unlike skill bloat this cannot be fixed by simply removing the "less effective or used" companions. It can however be managed by only adding real companions when the current and future storyline warrants it. Adding a companion with a small intro quest and then no linked content going forward is pointless.
  14. It's better to have the server migrations planned around the times the designers and engineers for the server migration are best available and not for customers. It's only 6 hours.
  15. The only point of light / dark side points is to track your progress towards which side of the force you are aligned to (even if you are a non-force user for some crazy reason that never made sense). If you align all the way to dark V on one character and then light V on the same (or another) character then it becomes possible to select you second combat stance at level 1 on any new characters instead of much later in their storyline. Aligning to light or dark unlocks character titles and access to items from vendors. Staying balanced actually achieves nothing - sorry.
