  1. Well Lost Ark announced for Feb 11th. A new to us MMO but established in Korea as a great dev team that listens to players and makes frequent updates. People can argue back and forth about whether those of us who came back to the game and subbed a week early for the xpac so we could play a little and get our character sorted deserve any compensation. But you cannot argue that we at least deserve acknowledgement. A recognition that they know a lot of people did that and that they're sorry we wasted our money because of their poor planning. If they had to delay two months then they knew much sooner than 1 week beforehand that there would be at least some sort of delay even if they didn't know how long. Taking the road of "we are the good guys, we don't want to ship an unfinished project" without saying a single thing about the people who subbed for the xpac is straight up dishonest. They know what happened. If they don't say a single thing, and ignore all of us, then they can forget me coming back to this game at all. Not even as f2p. If they don't respect their paying customers they don't deserve customers. Which in case any of you white knights in here forgot, they are not a passion project doing us a favor. They are a major company and we are their customers who pay their salaries.
  2. Thank you for being reasonable. Way too many people in response to this situation sound like they would also be defending EA lootboxes because "well you don't have to buy them it's optional".
  3. I guess the lack of even addressing people who subbed at all is the answer to how much they don't care.
  4. They made those announcements with sufficient advanced warning. Not a week before. You are acting ridiculous to blame the victims here.
  5. What about people who haven't played for however long you are deciding everyone affected has played? I certainly haven't, so I have no knowledge of any of these issues you're listing. Why should I expect a delay to an announced expansion to a long-standing MMO run by a major company?
  6. It works as a coping strategy for healers not actually being able to take a full healing role like they can in... every other mmo. Through no fault of their own. And it works if you queue a certain few VM that don't have completely ****ed scaling. it doesn't work as a well designed and well implemented feature. GW2 doesn't even have trinity and their healers can heal more successfully than a fresh healer can in GF VM. So if the goal is for anyone who likes playing main healer to bounce off this game as a new player, because their complaints don't matter, then sure it works "quite well".
  7. Just because it's working "as intended" doesn't make it a good system. However I don't think the scaling of Veteran dungeons has ever worked correctly and queueing up in bad team comps into these very unbalanced instances is a terrible experience for new players. The general complacency to these VM issues is a bit mind boggling to me.
