Hello out there, We have already experienced operations scaling in 4.0 and 5.0 expansions and most of the time it didn't really work well since it is not that simple to properly scale operations from level 55 to 70, for example. Especially when you have like 5 tiers of gear and make 9 operations simply irrelevant. What I want to propose is what already exists in the game - level sync (or in this case "operations descaling"). Let's take for example operation "Scum and Villainy": you enter the instance with level 75 character and have your level and stats descaled back to the maximum you had, i.e. the best PvE gear then was Kell Dragon 174 rating gear. But people of course would be using some 280 or whatever gear it would be in 6.0 so what you'd do is to cap Endurance, Power and Mastery (as you do on low level planets) by 174 rates but don't touch Critical, Alacrity, Accuracy, Absorb, Shield and Defense as a person should still have some gear on. You'd also adjust 174 gear stats for SM and HM instances which would make it work a lot better then Bolster, you'd give people higher stats and that would allow people doing group finder operation do more mistakes in a group of random people and still complete the ops enjoying game experience provided by Bioware instead of what it is now. You could do it with any operation: descale EV, KP, EC, TFB(?) and players to level 50 (150 gear); TFB(?), SNV, DF, DP to level 55 (174 for SnV and 186 gear for DF/DP); Rav, ToS to level 60 (198 gear); keep GftM on level 75 (with 258 gear stats). The only special thing about the descaling is to give players on tank spec more HP than the rest of players, because making tanks have the same amount of HP as DPS/healers or vice versa would just ruin the balance. How would rewards work? People would still be able to get timed run titles, mounts. I would suggest to put there back original drops from the level as some people would like to have some cool looks from the past like Revanite or Kell Dragon gear which is no longer available. What about actual rewards? Make it the same way as group finder: you enter instance, get mission automatically for killing last boss and have some crafting materials/gear as personal reward which would endorse players a lot. You could make different rewards depending on the difficulty of instance. TLDR: Put back original instances of operations into the game and instead of scaling it every patch/expansion just adjust level sync inside of instance and provide personal rewards. You adjust it once and never touch again despite new tiers of gear and expansions. The last but not least: We'd like to have back EV and KP NiM. You have it stored, just put it back as it was so people would be able to get gosh darn 100% operation achievements and enjoy content they missed.
  3. Stop complaining about Pyro you *******. It is well based PvE spec at the moment. Usage of basic abilities is the only thing which makes it not #1 DPS spec in the game. The only thing you should separate is single target and AoE sets. This will be ridiculous to farm as for Solo Ranked its better to have single burst, for regs fluff - AoE set; some operation bosses consist of single target fights and some are AoE. This will just just cause top-tier players to grind multiple sets of gear for single character. Just make it either full AoE or full single target with Tactical Item as switch. By making it single target you could increase damage done by Searing Wave. For AoE make Flame Sweep spread dots as well and increase damage of it so it'd be useful even on 2 targets. Regarding set bonus, you should first of all spread PvE and PvP gear back and make different set bonuses like few years ago so PvP set bonus would boost class' utility and survivability while PvE one would be focused on damage output.

  7. Please, rework starting planets and make it look nicely for 2k19. For example, lets take Tyth how it is right now. The location was designed in like 2010. I really like how Tyth looks in "Assault of Tython" flashpoint but all the new players who just begin the game can straight see low graphics location which doesn't give them "wow" effect. So if you could somehow expand starting planets and make it look beautiful that would be much appreciated.
  8. You cannot use it in PvP, nor in Master Mode operations. Why not just make it work for Flashpoints, Uprisings and Story&Veteran Mode Operations? Its irrelevant anywhere else so instead of excluding options where effects don't work you could just give where they actually do work.

I know its not the most important thing nowadays considering all SR and TR issues but since Bioware is going to let all new players earn no-longer obtainable PvP equipment, why did they begin from Season 1? There is the rarest PvP armor with animations and its named Firebrand. It was released during pre-season with patch 2.0 in 2013. The armor looks similar to Kell Dragon but has red glowing instead of cyan. Here is the link tho how Firebrand gear looks like. I personally like it because there are 8 completely different armor sets compared to Season 1 Victorious armor containing of 4 different armor sets with 2 options of color for Republic/Imperial sides and Season 3 Furious armor containing of 4 different armor sets with the same color for both Republic and Imperial sides.
  10. It is obvious that Bioware gives Influencer rank to the wrong people for a long time. There is currently no influencer to represent end-game community, for example. People who spend their own resources to keep up websites and software aren't getting free permanent subscription for the game. Influencers are only casuals nowadays.

If you are an old player you could look back into 2012-2014 when to acquire the best PvP equipment like Elite War Hero, Obroan and even Firebrand shells you'd have to play ranked warzones and earn Ranked Warzone Commendations. Unlikely from now when you can play unranked warzones and earn BiS (i.e. "Best-in-Slot") gear. If you want to acquire something you need to meet the requirements. Regarding the gearing just to play unranked warzones and raiding. Let's say I am raider and you are PvP'er: you queue for either regular or ranked warzone and get bolstered while I inter HM or NiM instance and don't have stats modified. Do you think it is really fair that for PvP you can plug blue 228 augments for 10k credits each and get 140k HP/ 5k Power while I have to craft a full set of fourteen augments / 8-10 millions each? I'd also like to add that regular warzones are not even a serious business compared to ranked: you don't loose anything when you loose a match (like rating), you don't pay for repairs like you do for PvE content. You queue, you play, you enjoy and no side effects. 258 Weapons are not necessary but could be used when you get some performance bonus out of it. But majority of players don't want to spend their own time into improving own play skills. Majority of players doesn't meet a limit which they need to push in case to have a reason to go for 258 weapons. It always was, it is and it will be like "skill > gear". If you have no skill to release your potential on the apex level of your current gear whats the reason you need 258 weapons? Correct. To compensate your lack of skill. So now it all comes to a player personal problem which doesn't make it a responsibility of raiders community who farm it with own team and don't bring players without achievements to help them. If you want to have a achievement so you can link it for a pug group, those can be earned with your guild: you join some progression group and learn mechanics with the rest of people. Sounds harder than joining a group of 7 people who have already progressed it and getting carried, right? If you don't want to put an effort into improving own skills, progressing the Queen with your team/guild and getting achievements whats your reason to have 258 weapons then? Regarding DPS requirements on 8HM. I'd personally suggest to use setup of 1 tank, 1 healer and 6 damage dealers (preferably 1-2 with cleanse or self-cleanse). That should give you enough DPS to clear the encounter.
  12. So here is a big drama: I've just played 8 GSF matches and lost them all. I didn't play it badly, I do like 20-30k damage but my team still loses. After wasting 3 hours of my time I've realized that I got 0 progress on the mission. How silly is this? Bioware has just proved that their developers don't even play own game. The mechanism of weekly missions is broken since 5.10 release on 12th December: • Weekly Event missions rotate every 2 weeks instead of every week (okay, that could be an intention) • Weekly Event mission were reset at 1 AM UTC every Tuesday which is 11 hours earlier than intended • 8 Medals mission just ruins gameplay for people who actually enjoy regular warzones and don't care about Masterwork Data Crystals (why couldn't it be "Finish unranked warzone match with at least 8 medals", Bioware?) • Weekly Event Missions aren't time balanced, i.e. 8 Medals takes 2-3 minutes, Group Finder Ops - 10 minutes, 4x Master Flashpoints - 60-90 minutes, 3x GSF wins - from 30 minutes up to 24 hours (!) because it is damn RNG • Last week on Tuesday reset we got first 8 Medals mission and then it switched to 3x GSF wins, its timer is totally broken • As I mention before, 3x GSF wins mission is totally silly as it relies a lot on your team. There are some people who don't know to play any other game mode, they queue GSF in premade and only their side actually wins every time. It is unpopular mode. Nobody wants to play it and one of the reasons is that it is not rewarding enough. Even 3x wins mission won't make me personally waste few hours of my time to get single Masterwork Data Crystal First you made all of us do dailies for raiding/ranked warzone. Now you make us play the game mode nobody wants to play. Why cannot you just sell Masterwork Crystals for Cartel Coins already.
