  1. Hi again, it looks like Hoth is broken for both sides, on characters that have completed it before. My Agent could not receive the first mission from Jevad and my Knight could not receive the first quest from Armaruk. I noticed there was a small patch but I’m not sure what it was for. Probably some other area of testing. Impside Belsavis is still broken too. Are the others ready for testing yet? (Also, which Balmorra and Taris will be available for testing? Both?)
  2. Did Nar Shaddaa this time, on my Knight and my Agent, both having already completed them before their import from live. The Republic side went smoothly, so nothing really to say there. The Imperial side had a small wrinkle that thankfully didn’t inflict playability. On the last quest, after speaking to Narvusin to initiate it, the backbone mission’s description is blank, though the map marker still correctly points you to Stron. On speaking to him, the mission Zero Protocol is correctly granted, but the backbone mission directs you to return to Narvusin! I imagine it’s possible to skip the last quest through this, though I didn’t try. I was more interested in finding out if the turn-in for Zero Protocol was intact or if it would interfere with the clearly-glitched backbone. Thankfully, it didn’t interfere, and I was able to both collect its reward and finish the bonus series! Still, might want to look into avoiding the ability to sequence-break the plot. As far as actual feedback goes, I’d like to +1 the sentiment that rewards need to be made more relevant. I’m not complaining about the Alliance Crates at the end (I will never complain about another repeatable source of crates, variety is a good thing), but the individual quest rewards are largely irrelevant now - especially the companion off-hands, which don’t even have cosmetic value! Maybe consider changing the individual bonus series quests to give level-scaled gear the way heroics do before the switch over to crates?
  3. More Belsavis Bonus Series testing: When I noticed the trouble mission for the Belsavis bonus from my previous post had been reset on logging into my Imperial Agent, I thought it was fixed. Unfortunately, Locke still won’t allow him to turn in the quest. Abandoning both quest and backbone was met with Locke acting as if I’d cleared the mission without giving it to me in the first place this time. Testing pubside on my Smuggler....had mixed results. It worked mostly as intended, but the quest “Riot” was skipped - it asked me to complete no objectives, but directed me straight to Devlin, where the quest chain continued as normal. Otherwise, I was able to complete the bonus series without any problems. To see if the impside set was broken or if it was just my agent, I switched to my Sith Warrior to see if he could overcome the hurdle my agent had stumbled over. Short answer: Nope. Conclusion: Belsavis bonus series works fine for Republic characters in current PTS build (with a single hiccup that only affects the story flow - would like it fixed but it’s playable at least), but is broken for Imperials.
  4. The newly-repeatable Belsavis has some bugs. [ETA: impside imperial agent] 1: If you choose the [Refuse Mission] option in the initial conversation, it gives you the next stage of the quest anyway (though you can’t talk to Vorel, even though you can enter the instance) 2: I ran into a bug on the first step of the chain for Locke, after freeing the gang members, the game prompted me to return to Locke, and the map marker updated to match. However, the NPC seems to be checking my existing completed state and not the currently running repeatable, since he doesn’t initiate conversation and just says something about the experiments being up and running soon. This second one was resistant to both zoning out to stronghold and back in, and to logging out and back in. Fully exiting and restarting the client, unfortunately, didn’t fix the problem either.
  5. One more thing, actually... I notice the Killik population setting isn’t saved on logout (or at least, not the AFK force logout.). It was at heavy population and on login it was none. I hope this is intended to be a saved setting on live! If it isn’t, please consider it! Thank you! EDIT: The SH isn’t flagged as a rest zone? Hope that gets fixed before live!
  6. I think the larger, pertinent things have been covered already, and I’m sorry if my thoughts cover them, too. But here are the things that leaped out at me. -I LOVE the versatility of the starship hooks in the field. I wonder, however, if there isn’t a way to put some small or medium narrow hooks closer by? My SW is a beastmaster type and splitting a few of these into a large/medium ring arrangement would be perfect for some of his animals to roam out there. But without small hooks, he can’t keep families (mounts/comps and pets of the same species) together without putting them somewhere else. There are a few he has that don’t have any others yet and they can go there in the meantime (and I see the centerpiece arrangements closer to the mountainside and across the bridge over there, I know I can use those!) so no real urgency on this one, just a thought. -Some hooks in the river outside would be nice. Is it a technical problem to put hooks in the water? I’d like a statue or rock formation or random flora there! -I feel like an alternate entrance into the caves behind the waterfall at (-2, 156) would be awesome, as would more of the caves in general. Or a different cave? A crystal cave? People are asking for that too. Why not both! -I love the amount of space you get without any unlocks! Good for players who earn credits more slowly. -Doors don’t appear to have any SFX associated with them yet! I assume you know this and they’ll be present in live, it’s just kind of funny. -Could the small hooks lining the hallway to the throne room be converted into medium narrow ones? We can split those into a small pair if needed. More versatility! -That pool just below the balcony is so inviting-looking! Please consider letting us play down there! (Also since it has a window from the throne room overlooking it, maybe letting us put some decos in the pool proper, maybe, similar to the exterior underwater hooks on Manaan?) -No hooks except carpet hooks in the hallway leading to the balcony overlook? At least some wall hooks are in order, I think. Let us put artwork in there? -I love the animation to unlock the Killik grounds! Is there a way to replay it or do we just have to record it. It might be fun to show guests. -Overall, the stronghold is gorgeous, and well done, and I’m looking forward to playing around with my decos on live, whether any of what I just said is taken into account or not! Excellent work, thank you so much for bringing it to us!
  7. Adding to this and bumping, one more Smuggler (loyalist if that matters) the cutscene didn’t play for. There are no class-specific dialogue choices, are there? I could just decide what my smug would have said from some other pub’s options, but still. Piece of your newest story chunk missing! A fix would be very much appreciated (along with, maybe, the option to replay it if it isn’t available? If it wouldn’t break anything, that is. For those of us who missed it.)
  8. Same issue here. I would like to recruit Bowdaar on more than my smuggler. Or do the Championship at all, because it’s fun, or at least it was before the scaling broke. 70 or 75, please pick one for both parties.
  9. I managed to just barely scrape through on my own agent’s first time. The solo mode is scaled up to 75 but doesn’t level shift the player to match, while vet mode does. Please fix this level shift oversight BW! Solo mode shouldn’t be harder than vet. Speaking of eternal empire content that’s broken, the Eternal Championship has the same problem.
  10. I have a similar issue, with the Priority Transport: Odessen character perk. I can’t unlock it on any of my characters.
  11. Can we at least have an answer on the Alliance Supply Crates? The specialists have a (very slow) workaround but considering I hit 70 around Hoth on all my characters in the course of normal play, it’s feasible to hit 75 before even touching Ilum, let alone Odessen. This could very easily create conditions in which a player cannot progress their star fortress missions if they don’t realize they have to save whatever crates they have. Just acknowledgment of this would go a long way. Is it intended? Will there be some other way to gain them if so? Will the structure of the star fortress missions change (a simple yes/no isn’t a spoiler is it?)? Is it a bug?
  12. I like the new feel of the UI but could you possibly add a tooltip or some other indicator that you’re supposed to double-click to open rerolls? I can kind of see how the button design hints at it, but only after I already figured it out. Everything else in the game is single-click, so that was a little bizarre.
  13. Onderon daily crates just gave me nothing but downgrades - 270 and 272 at IR 276. Pretty sure that shouldn’t be happening. It happened to me with a renown cache too, 274 relic at 276. definitely not supposed to happen, given how sparse items in renown crates are. Thought you should know it’s still happening!
  14. Onderon’s map is back to the original blue so I guess that was part of this patch? Haven’t seen anything else new yet though
  15. Tested CZ-198 for both balance and conquest - combat sentinel at average IR 271 with Scourge on heals at influence 15, seemed a little slower going than on live but that may have been an inefficient set choice? (Overwhelming Offense tac/[6]Perfect Form set). Overall I’d call it fairly balanced! The sync to 56 appears to be working okay. I may come back with another set and tactical. Now, the conquest half...no. I’d thought maybe actively pursuing conquest goals would make it feel less slow (as I’d only been testing the limited range of things in phase 2 before) but 50k is just too much, especially with an operation-heavy event run like Titans of Industry. I am very rarely up for ops in the first place, and on top of that never play the same character all week. Give us the general Galactic Conquest goal back and/or maybe look into reducing it to 25-30k? Be kinder to us people with more than one character/not enough play time in the week/both. Conquest is all I’m going to really be playing for once I run out of story and if I can’t do that then what’s the point?
  16. I wasn’t sure where to put something like this, so I guess I’ll make a new thread for it. I noticed reputation items for Onderon have been implemented! That’s great! However, they’re use on pickup like the RXP packs. What happens when a player hits the weekly cap? Do they go into inventory? Are they wasted? I have four characters who may be at different points in the story now but one day they’ll all be sitting at endgame, and on live I capped out Makeb just by happening to have two characters run its story (not even; one ran the back 2/3 and the other started the first half...) within the same week. Please consider letting players hold on to reputation items if they’re near/at cap so that effort isn’t wasted. Thanks for reading, I hope my feedback is useful, and sorry if this belonged somewhere else!
  17. [Rep]Combing the Wreckage is bugged for me too, can’t find the datapad anywhere. Overall I suggest making the objective highlights easier to see, because the planet is visually stunning...but also busy, and yellow or green outlines that barely clear the ground can be hard to see in all the foliage. I don’t want to have to turn graphics settings down just to see what I’m looking for, Onderon is too pretty for that.
  18. Thank you so much for responding to our feedback! I tested out this patch with a DPS this time (Scrapper Scoundrel if that would’ve affected RNG weights), and noticed something odd: the game doesn’t appear to check MODS for relevance! I understand that there’s some overlap - crit and alacrity are beneficial to both heals and DPS for example and a Scoundrel may be either - but a warding mod shouldn’t be dropping for either of those! I don’t mind, personally, since I do have a tank in the legacy who might be able to use it, but not everyone might, and it doesn’t seem to match your intent with this PTS patch, so I thought I’d point it out!
  19. So my internet decided to die in the middle of doing Onderon dailies to test that since I neglected to do it before, but running Hammer Station again yielded 7:3 relevant-to-non-relevant drops, so it looks like that bit of RNG balancing is fixed as promised! Thank you! Of those relevant drops about half were repeats, however. I understand that’s intended as deconstruction fodder, though. I’m not sure how well you can fine-tune what the game looks at without risking some deep-rooted bugs cropping up, but if it’s possible to avoid rolling the same part of the same set, that would be great! (Not that I’m going to complain AS much if I can use the mods attached to those set pieces though...something I should have realized in the three second grace period while deconstructing the duplicate piece. Oops.) Renown still feels too slow, even with boosts, and Kai still seems too expensive. So does the other vendor, actually, especially for another random roll. If she could just sell “lesser” gear pieces as-is it would make those prices worth it. You did say you had solutions in the works to getting specific pieces of gear, though, maybe I’m harping on something you already know? Kai’s random item for half the price of available fixed purchases is a model maybe his fellow vendor over there could learn from though! I don’t mind RNG if there’s also a direct method (see: command crates with the safety net of tokens and unassembled pieces) Hope this was helpful, somehow! (PS: I love the descriptions for the tacticals. It’s clear you guys had a lot of fun with them! Wasn’t sure where to put this but I wanted to say it.)
  20. So, the problem with having a shiny progress bar on the screen is, it’s so painfully obvious how much slower renown gain is compared to command. And while I understand it’s meant to be supplementary to loot or mission rewards, I feel like that effect could be achieved by using something comparable to a mid-range current CG level and reducing the number of items in the box to 2-3 instead of 4-5. One can even still be a miscellaneous-but-useful thing like a companion gift if you want. One item for the amount of RXP needed to earn it makes that progress bar feel a lot less exciting to watch, you know? It’s actually kind of frustrating. Front-and-center UI elements should have payoffs equal to the amount of work you put into them. Please tweak one end or the other of this to fit!
  21. So, this needs some work! It feels like the RNG bias is reversed from what it should be. As a tank (Immortal Juggernaut) I ran Hammer Station a total of six times. I got exactly nine relevant pieces of gear, and one from a renown cache gained along the way. Two were belts, so I could only use one. That still leaves the rest of the haul - nearly my entire inventory’s worth - as DPS and healer gear, and one very specific tactical for a class I don’t even play! On live, I’d imagine I’d send all the DPS and healer gear to my other characters, but it still feels weird that six runs on my tank geared all my others, but not him. I’d expect to be getting one DPS piece for every five tank pieces, instead of the other way around. Please weigh the RNG more heavily in favor of the role the character in question is currently running! Also, give us something to do with tacticals our entire legacy has no use for! Let the bind run out on a timer like CM items and let us send it to friends or put up for sale. Or let us deconstruct them! If you do keep the current RNG weights (maybe even if you don’t?), for the love of the force please don’t turn off the level 70 gear set bonuses at 75, because any one player’s ability to get a level 75 set seems far, far lower than you made it sound. Punishing your more casual players for leveling faster than they earn gear isn’t great. I loved the idea of Spoils of War when it was announced. I’ve been looking forward to it. But the protection against irrelevant rolls as it stands in PTS isn’t kicking in fast enough for the intended effect, and tech fragments don’t drop in high enough numbers to make up for it. I’m still looking forward to tacticals and playing with amps and finding new gear! If you want some positive feedback, that part is working as intended! I went in with my 230 gear copied from live and the game INSTANTLY went “oh okay, you’re very behind the curve, I need to shower you in 270s” and I love that! I just wish more of it was something my tank could have actually used for himself instead of passing on to the rest of the legacy, you know? I hope this feedback helps!
