I’m down. I have all the prerequisites for dreadful entity and hateful essence and I’d like to get a group to farm hateful enough for everyone in the group to get crests. Doesn't change the point about deception being balanced. If you don't care about g ranked, and I'm not denying that the scene has a very very small population and is irrelevant to 99% of players, then just ignore that part. In s ranked it's good, but not as good as pt tank, mm sniper, carnage mara, and a few others. In regs it's no better than any other single target burst. I haven't even seen 15K+ DPS as decep in a game, nor have I done it myself which is sad. Get rid of tac swapping on stealth, but nerfing deception would be odd considering it is not the best spec at anything aside from maybe initial burst, which won't kill a good player anyway.

If you think deception is too good, maybe the best route is to get better at your own spec. For the record, deception swaps 100% loses to PT pressure in 4s. In regs, a few good DoT spec players (or even just one if the healer(s) are not prepared) will wipe a team before a decep sin (or 3 for that matter) can kill them. A lot of bad players complaining... Deception is good for globalling RPers in regs and it's good in s ranked vs uncoordinated mat farmers, but it is not the meta in 4s and it is not even overpowered in any other setting. Show me a deception swaps team beating pt pressure in g ranked. It can't happen. Also, show a deception parse that goes over 25K DPS or show a deception sin doing over 15K DPS (an okay benchmark for "good") in regs. It's quite sad to see people hyped on 8-10K DPS as deception as well, as if below average numbers that can be done playing jugg tank indicate a DPS spec should be nerfed. I don't understand where people are coming from calling for a deception nerf when Vengeance can use slam on GCD, PT tank can do 30K DPS in 4s, and merc healers are uninterruptible 80% of the time. Deception will ALWAYS get outDPSd by DoT specs in regs once cleave takes DPS potential above ~14K and it is NOT the meta in 4s. It is high tier overall across all forms of content, but in no way is it deserving of a nerf. Hey all, Spooky here. This is the Star Forge 6.0 PvP Records Thread. This is a place to flex all your high DPS, HPS, etc. screenshots.There’s a category for every stat shown on the warzone scoreboard, with the exception of medals. The DPS/HPS records will have an overall and a class specific category for the purpose of comparison. There are categories for reg 8s, 4s (of any kind), and challenges. Also, I will be personally giving rewards to the top 5 overall DPS/HPS holders and the #1 DPS/HPS holder for each class at the end of each PvP season. This will hopefully promote competition and inspire those who usually just post screens to their discord servers to share them with the broader community. The rewards will be rare items and credits or whatever I have laying around that’s cool. Everything will be mailed. These are all good points. Thanks for the discussion. I suppose it's just frustrating seeing all the negativity around it since I am one of the people who will give the credits first. The system would maybe function better if referrals were somehow made into an item. Or maybe Bioware could nerf how lucrative buying referral link clicks is. For example, I heard a lot of people became billionaires over the lifeday event by buying link clicks then using the CC on winter warrior titles, which on Star Forge can pretty easily sell for 20 million credits at a ridiculous ratio of 167,000 credits per CC. One link click meant someone could turn a 5 million credit investment into 90-100 million credits. Everyone I know who did this got hooked on buying link clicks. The system is far too rewarding and attractive at the moment. Maybe capping the number of people someone can get the 600 CC reward from would help, not sure.
