If BioWare ever decided to add more class story content I would absolutely support this. But in terms of a general expansion story for all classes I'm not so sure. I really like that the story has gone back to being mostly about the Republic vs Empire. We've already had a main villain that both factions are against before with Tenebrae and Revan.

I really enjoyed both expansions. It definitely feels like the best playthroughs are with the Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior though, as they have the strongest connections to Valkorion/Vitiate. Apparently BioWare were originally going to give the non-force sensitive classes force sensitivity, which would've been really interesting but I understand why they didn't go with it. The whole alliance thing was pretty good, but I am glad that we're going back to Republic vs Empire.

Once you're given an option to kill a character, they disappear from the narrative regardless of your choice (aside from a few exceptions). If we're given such an option with Lana, who are we left with?

When I first heard that she'd be returning it was the first thing that came to my mind. I sure hope so.
