  1. Thank you for the tip! It's more of a drip feed of scrap compared to the previous torrent, but it's still so much better than sitting around clueless how to get scrap to get the RIS, so I really appreciate it. The missions themselves also sell for a decent sum it seems, so it's nice to have an additional way to earn credits too. @ Dekibra - Oof, that is unfortunate indeed, and also relatable. I miss being able to solo MMs myself... I've tried RR a couple of times after 7.0 but can never do it without dying a couple of times, and then not being quick enough on the pillars a lot of the time for the droid boss, so I usually end up just. Getting stuck there. It's not worth dying like ten times and having to repair gear, unfortunately... @ Aghasett - I hear you. I definitely don't craft as much any more as I did during 6.0 and miss the reward both conquest point-wise and just making stuff to either use for myself, give to friends who needed stuff, or sell, etc... It was such a chill way to spend time too, but these days it's just... Not any more.
  2. Hi! Thank you for the tip, I did try this myself on a stealther, but sadly all I'm getting is the Processed Isotope Stabilizer rather than the Refined type, so. Back to square one, unfortunately. I really do hope that a change is made here because I just do not have the credits to get Refined Isotope Stabilizers off of the GTN...
  3. I know nothing will be done about it because I'm sure the system is Working As Intended, but still... I hate how difficult it is to get Refined Isotope Stabilizers now. Before it felt like I was drowning in Jawa Scrap and could buy more at the Jawa vendor whenever I was running low. With the new gearing system not dropping this scrap for decomposing it and my tech fragments currently being tied up trying to gear my characters rather than being spent toward old 306 gear to decompose, it means that these stabilizers that are necessary for crafting Dark Projects are now insanely pricey to get on the GTN- well above being worth buying there, considering you need eight of them to craft a single Project. Maybe letting us exchange from purple to blue scrap would be a good idea, because honestly I've got a ton of that. That would just be slapping a band-aid onto a broken bone though. I'd love to see this being addressed by allowing us to buy the Isotopes for credits like the Iokath Recombinators (especially since crafting Dark Projects is a conquest objective, too), but... Press X to Doubt that this has been/is being thought about. Either way, staring at my ever dwindling, never replenishing stock of Refined Isotope Stabilizers really sucks. Yes, I am just here to whine and get it out there because really I don't have anywhere else to express my irritation about it.
  4. I've noticed this bug happening to me too. Usually when the corpse has dropped currency such as tech frags, daily resource matrixes, etc. It happens regardless of whether or not I'm capped on the currency too so it's not that I just can't loot it/haven't looted it yet, it just becomes non-harvestable if it drops any gearing currency at all. All we can do is hope for a fix, I suppose. And it's annoying, too, even though it's not such a big deal, since harvesting from corpses is one of the easier ways to hit the daily gathering goal rather than hunting for nodes to harvest all over a map.
  5. Honestly I think it's fine if certain weeklies are featured for different weeks, same with the heroics. Problem is that by restricting the ones we can do, that also restricts the conquest points we can earn on any given character, and with conquest objectives tied to legacy rather than character and the personal conquest target being raised to 100k (which again, is fine if it's done right) it makes everything more grindy and significantly less fun. Part of the draw for me and many of the people I know who play this game is having a lot of alts. I like hitting conquest on all my alts by doing a lot of different content with each of them, not just because I find it to be an enjoyable way to spend my time, but also to help the guild I'm in. By making the target 100k and limiting the content I can get a good amount of cq points for, I feel obligated to spend my time doing content that I really do not want to do. I get that that maybe wasn't the point you were making, and that you were talking about the gear rewards. I get that. But as a person who loves this game, I feel obligated to voice that the current direction- the swinging in the entirely opposite direction of "play your way"- feels grindy, unenjoyable, tedious, and more like sitting down to work than like sitting down to play a game I love. It's fine if you want to limit the gear rewards to only the featured content for the week. I don't necessarily agree, but I'm also not a game developer so I won't try to figure out of the logic behind it. But I do ask that you keep in mind that a lot of the weekly areas may not be accessible to all players. If I have a character who's boosted since I've played long enough to not always feel like leveling from the ground up, but story-wise still at the beginning of the game, I can't do Ossus or Onderon or any of the later weeklies that might be featured. If I haven't done the introduction to Oricon, then I can't do the Oricon weekly on that character. And in that way, we're a lot more limited now than you seem to realize, and are funneled into the content that's "always" available like heroics and the like, that have also been heavily nerfed in terms of conquest point gain. An easy fix would be to tie the conquest point rewards to character, which would mean that the content could be played again on a different character for that same day, and still be given something more than a measly less than 1k conquest points per mission. Another possible way to make it feel actually worth it beyond the upgrade currency & gear rewards would be to raise the conquest point gain for the featured weeklies. So if you'd originally get 10k for the CZ-198 weekly with max stronghold bonus, perhaps, if the area is featured that week, double or triple that. Same for the kill x amount of enemies on a featured planet, maybe boost the conquest point gains for that too, while keeping it the same as usual on non-featured planets. If a planet's heroics are in the weeklies for a week, give a conquest point reward for completing all of them, on the same level as the other more traditional weekly areas. Say if I do the five required to finish Belsavis, I get a decent chunk of conquest points for completing all of them for example. TL;DR- It's fine if limiting gear and currency rewards is part of the point of the saga of the rotating weeklies. What isn't fine is that it currently feels like something I should be paid to do, not something I should pay to do, which is how I- and honestly a lot of other people too, it seems like- feel. Please consider ways of fixing that so I and many others can go back to actually enjoying the game with both our mains and our alts, rather than feeling like we need to delete our alts to not feel overwhelmed by the amount of work we have to do for something that doesn't even really feel like a reward.
  6. 100% agree with all of this. A paltry 700 cq points per heroic after the initial one (unless your character is a low enough level to get the generic heroic objective at a little over 4k which is infinitely repeatable) makes hitting conquest an absolute slog to get through. I used to have like close to 40-something alts, but thanks to raising the target to 100k and removing a lot of the repeatable objectives (and like.. I'd be fine even with renown gone? It'd still be somewhat more of a grind sure, but not seemingly impossible to keep up with like it is now)... I've reduced my number of characters down to just 15 and I still feel like I'm drowning in unenjoyable work. And like... Server slots? Or even something like the Master's Datacron to skip leveling on a new character? Absolutely worthless now (beyond tossing them up on the GTN to drive home how little those conquest credits actually matter in this game since there's part of the actual inflation issues right there), since any new character would be preferable to keep at a low level for easier conquest anyway, and maintaining a lot of alts is now stressful enough to make someone go gray early. Conquest was fine before. It didn't need ""fixing"". But nah, Bioware couldn't let us play the game our way. We have to engage with the content they want us to, not the content we actually want to do ourselves. And even their "weekly" targets still available in the activity tab doesn't even give any boost in cq points either, just coughs up some gear caches at you that you also cannot even open or use unless you're level 80 so like... ??? Makes that utterly pointless. It's like... Thanks for giving us something that can gather dust in our inventory/personal storage, I guess??? I have to assume that they hate smaller guilds, also, since with the conquest changes, things will get a lot harder for guilds that don't have a ton of people. Honestly conquest right now is like... Three times the amount of work for something that barely qualifies as a ""reward"" and out of all the changes they've made, this is probably the one that makes me the angriest. I could handle the bugs and the changes in combat and what not. What I can't handle is seeing a game that I've enjoyed, a game that I've loved, and put time and actual literal money into, a game where I've met a lot of wonderful people, turn into something completely devoid of any genuine enjoyment. When I sit down to play, I'm looking to have a good time playing the game like I want to play it, doing a little bit of everything and actually being given some reward for doing heroics and flashpoints and story and whatever I actually want to engage with at any given time, not to joylessly repeat the same tasks over and over, day after day, hoping that it'll be enough to push me over the 100k point requirement. I'm sure there are those who would argue that the devs don't owe us easy (or at least reasonable) conquest or whatever, except a lot of us literally pay for this game, so yeah. I think we have the right to make some demands here. With the slog that they've turned conquest into, honestly it feels like they should be paying us.
  7. I could write a novel about what I think about the changes and new ""features"" in 7.0, between the bugs, the ui that hurts the eyes, the icons that look like a 10 year old made them in MS Paint... The pruning of skills being horribly unbalanced... The expansion's story being only around an hour or two worth of playtime, hardly worthy of being called an expansion at all... But genuinely one the worst is the change that you no longer get conquest points for heroics on any given planet beyond the first one you do, unless you happen to be low enough of a level to only have the generic heroic cq target pop. I guess I never have any incentive to buy those Master's Datacrons now though, since leveling slowly makes for the easier and superior experience! Thanks! With conquest now being 100k- already more time consuming to hit- it's an absolute slog if you happen to have more than a few alts at max or close to max level, and with the loss of renown and level 80 being the cap for subscribers, it makes working on getting to personal conquest / helping with guild conquest absolutely horrid. I saw the patch notes about conquest changes and thought "no they couldn't possibly-" and yet it seems I was the fool there, because you did, and it's awful. Balancing seems to have been left by the wayside too, since heroics that were a breeze before will leave you dying several times to the same trash over and over. I haven't died to a mob in a heroic in years but now I'm getting smeared across the pavement if I so much as breathe on a mob in a heroic area. Wonderful. When I sit down to play, I sit down to have a good time, not to feel like I'm at a job I hate. I know I'm just screaming into the void here, but... Genuinely baffled that anyone thought any of this was a good idea. PS. if any Dev is actually reading this; Not having access to all weekly areas / heroics from the activity tab, and having to go to the fleet or through an orbital station to pick them up is utter bs too btw. Same goes for flashpoints. Absolutely awful.
  8. There is an issue when you go to speak to Heskal in this chapter, where the cutscene will play normally until about halfway through, only to break and not display character animations or play voiced lines. Had the same issue back in the Asylum chapter as well, still not resolved, I just had to bite the bullet on that one and continue through as I'd rather not be stuck there in perpetuity. Would prefer if that did not become a theme, though. Graphics drivers are all up to date, and I believe I am using the streaming client? I don't play through Steam, and there is no Bitraider folder to delete, at any rate. Here is a recording of the issue in question, showing that the cutscene works up to a certain point, only to break midway through.
  9. The cutscene toward the end of the chapter, during the final confrontation with Heskal, is broken. Character animations and voiced lines do not play. I've tried to restart the game, and also repair it, neither of which have worked. Would be really nice to get it fixed so I can actually continue playing on that character.
