  1. Thanks for the explanations. I understand Thanaton's motivations better now. The article helped, but I didn't feel like I got an adequate explanation from the story itself.
  2. I can't figure out what rule Zash broke? I know Thanaton told my SI that Zash went against some Sith tradition when she arranged Skotia's death, but it all seemed like nonsense - basically it literally makes no sense to me in context of the Sith. Which Sith tradition states that you can't exploit a rival's (or your master's) weakness in order to kill them and take their place in the hierarchy? As Baras says in the SW story, "Every Sith must attend to his own promotion." What Zash did seems par for the course for the Sith. What I mean is I literally don't understand what rule/tradition Thanaton is talking about. He is supposed to be the villain, but I am mostly a mixture of amused, bemused, but mostly I am confused.
  3. I'm going through the SI story and....why does Thanaton want to kill my SI, exactly? I listened to all of the dialogue and pay close attention, but I am still confused on what's happening in this story. I'm midway through part 2.
  4. At this point I'd settle for a letter! But, yes, cutscenes are certainly preferable. ETA: So he wasn't part of Hearts and Minds, either, it seems. And no not even a letter? sigh
  5. So any word on seeing Malavai again, or at the very least getting a letter from him at all?
  6. What outfit is he in? It looks amazing on him. ETA: never mind…. found it in the cartel market.
  7. I will gnaw bread and water for months, months I say, for this set. But also brie.
  8. I forgave Theron because I felt the writer's screwed his character over and I took this approach to him: This storyline has been a hot mess, so let's just move on, shall we?
  9. This combination sounds absolutely disgusting to me. Revolting. What I mean by "disgusting" and "revolting" is that if a slice was put in front of me I'd eat it.
  10. I wish there were companions we could say no to. I would have left Kaliyo on Hutta. I probably would have left Ashara on Taris though I don't hate her, it's just there's no reason to take a Jedi along and my Dark Side Inq wouldn't have. One of the things I like about the Dragon Age franchise is there's a lot more opportunity for that. With almost all the companions in DA:O and Sera in DA:I. Thanks for the jar of bees, now go away. She grew on me after a while though.
  11. You're certainly free to believe Ashara's an equal and I respect your roleplay choice to tell her that. If as you suggest she trained for that specific moment, then great; the reunion should have reflected that. It didn't. So Ashara didn't. And now we Dark Side V people are left with creating our own story because unlike you, we didn't get a roleplay choice. And again, I don't want her dead. And no, I don't think she backed it up; she block some lightning - whoopdie doo. I'd have liked for it to have been more convincing, is all I'm saying. Give my Inq a real fight; a claim with some meat on it. I would have been fine if a Dark Side character could duel her and it end in a stalemate, or even lose to Ashara. I don't need my character to be the most powerful, but I don't want them to be a chump, either. I don't hate Ashara at all, but I still won't do the alert when I get to it because of the lack of agency and OOC behaviour of my Dark Side Inq. Not because of Ashara. Use of YOU is not personal.
  12. Me too! There's so much opportunity for stories to tell for everyone if they let us switch factions.
  13. We should have combined the forces from the Revan story and taken down the immortal emperor and his children as part of a Ziost storyline with it weakening both factions. Then Jedi Under Siege happening almost right after. KOTFE/ET were wasted years, in my opinion.
