  1. 1st thing from defences which I would like to see on AP is getting back 30% damage reduction while stunned passive. Energy Shield with its 15 secs duration is great, especially on AP with Pyro Shield making its damage even more crazy. Back to threat, & i think bad Kolto Overload is main reason of PT squishyness. Tank one is ok but is not superior to any other long CD dcd, hatdly compareable

  3. Reducing its cd is not the way I think. This dcd is useless except for end of fight when it tirggers. I think it shouldn`t have health cap, and it should heal more or longer.
  4. For its 3min CD rhis dcd is fairly weak on PT, even on Pyrotech. Enraged Defence is better in any way including CD, same with merc reflect for example. Its only my opinion and I am open for discussion.
  5. in damage vs survival survival is usually better. Best example are Powertech dps, they deal a lot of damage but lacks survival
  6. After all, I decided to stick to 110% acc on PT I think getting 10k more or something on autocrit is not worth risking missing 40k railshot
  7. only few or my mods are R-2 ones, others are close to it, but not R-2 Anyway, I was wondering if going to 5% acc wouldn`t be better
  8. So if for example I use 110% acc on my AP PT and loose a lot of damage on my autocrit its okay for PvP? With my basically perfect gear autocrit energy burst deals like 57-61k (depends on Power Yield stacks).     Accuracy in PvP

    Question about accuracy in PvP Which abillities can actually miss or be resisted or anything like that? I noticed that 5% defence in most of classes works only against melee/ranged attacks while players has no force/tech damage defence. Inquisitors has 10% melee/ranged instead. So, is that true that force/tech cannot be resisted in PvP? Does Oper/PT/Sorc need any acc in PvP? I heard that some instant abillities like interrupt can miss, but I`m not sure about it Can anyone send the list of abillities that can miss/be resisted for all of these 3 classes in PvP?
  10. There is threat about Veteran Ranger Set. Guy said that he needs last piece and will update us soon. For me 4pc bonus of ranger looks like ****, 6pc is nice but why its random? I like 2% Mastery it provides making my autocrit better. I wanna test Right Price for now in PvP, rhis set on my tank reduces CD of fuel by nearly 1min, on DPS it will be even better. 10% DR sounds nice if combined with sonic defence and prototype armor passives. Heat might be a problem, but I played AP a lot in 5.10, so I may manage
  11. 1st. They cannot chsnge ranged weapon on game to something else on PT 2nd. There are already blaster rifles which looks like shotguns 3rd. Vanguard uses his rifle in many many abillities And, imho, regular blaster rifle is coolest weapon in SW universe, sadly Hunters uses pistols instead
  12. Pyrotech is one of top damage specs atm. AP when played well is much tougher than sin (I do not count Cloak, its running away from danger more than dcd)
  13. Searing Wave in 4pc bonus is terrible in *designed for AP set bonus*, as BW called it. Autocannon sounds nice tbh. I would replace 75% chsnce to 100%, it would not be too op (look at Death Kneel, Gathering Storm or Established Foothold sets)
  14. Let's not overpower anything pls. PT is quite tough, at least on AP and tank specs. Escape abillity would be nice with grapple util. Translocate is useless because of its channel. I would make it instant, and class-wide, like Jugger protecting leap. For tanking tree I would put something strong with short duration, heal ot reflect. I would also replace hotswap to something buffing this nee tank abillity. Pyrotech is pure DoT spec, they are not refreshing their DoTs, they has to reapply them. Exception of this is Vegenance tsctical Crimson Slash. (AP and Lightning refreshing their DoTs, but they are burst specs)
  15. Disadvantage is long time between burst windows (Explosive Fuel + Shoulder Cannon). With Flame Detonation its AoE is decent, but poor on tougher mobs. Without Flame Detonation its nice for trash cleaning because of knockdowns on 2 of them
  16. AP PT is my main, this spec has best single target burst in game, even compared to PvP deception and conc builds. It will also get huge damage buffs in delayed 6.1 patch (patchnotes are avaliable already). This spec is also quite tough compared to Pyrotech
  17. These chsnges in 6.1 looks solid, I think AP will perform good in PvP now. i think this threat is officially closed!
  18. I really like AP changes as its my fav spec. I also agree with ppl request8ng Madness buff, it shall overdps Lightnimg in long fights since its DoT spec
  19. I made few more parses, and in most of them Energy Burst isn`t critically hitting even with my 3200 crit atm
  20. Pyrotech can use Searing Wave + Immolate combo as often as you can use Detonator on AP, more often than AP can use Enegy Burst with 4 stacks. Searing Wave does pretty same damage and its cone AoE tbh I have no idea why Pyrotech got buffed, it it was already strongest in basically all ways than AP
  21. Have you ever tried Meteor Brawler? Firefall/Ionfall does a lot on dps specs, on my AP with ****** gear it deals like 70k, on Pyrotech it does even more. I`m not sure how much it does on tank tbh, I have not watched its value, but simple math says me that if I reached 70k on AP which has no buffs for elementar damage, I`d get like 50k on tank Which is not bad. Other thing is that Emergency Power is hard to get atm, Right Price drops often from conq crates, and Brawler is buyable on fleet. So, imo, you should take Right Price from conq as long as you won`t get Meteor Brawler, then you can try to get Emergency Power from Dxun drops. Atm Right Price is not good for tank, its 1st bonus if 2% mastery, not 2% endurance like Meteor has, 4 pieces bonus is quite nice, and 6 pieces bonus sucks a lot on tank spec.

To proove that AP needs some autocrit on Energy Burst I have made parse http://parsely.io/parser/view/462637 I have used Energy Burst with 4 Energy Lodes 3 times here, I`m using Powerlode tactical on this parse My dps is pretty low because I`ve low power (228 augs) I`ve 3k crit so crit chance was quite high Even with it I have not crit a single time with Energy Burst
  23. In my opinion Advanced Prototype/Tactics needs 1st of all autocrit on his Energy Burst/Cell Burst since now its damage is not good enough for its 20 heat/energy cost. Consider that other burst specs got some autocrits in thier passives, set bonuses or tacticals. Other thing I would buff is Shatter Slug/Flak Shell. Its damage is not really high even with 25% more damage on it from passive. I think that`s all that AP/Tactics would need to become great burst spec again.
