  1. what is wildstar, and why is it more important than how we treat each other what bothers me is I got this grudxge, and a problem I want to reach out to so many of you, and I feel like I cant because you don't love GOd it matters to me because maybe im wrong it bothers me, that so many of do you do not and to take it a step further, your backed by the internet ……….. when was it ever wrong for a man to say his peace it bothers me, that its not stealin a damn post, from someone, its how we treat each other and yall are like, next...… I get it, I think
  2. Dude, in no way shape or form would I feel shamed because people feel its ok to act like D bags to you. In what world is that ok? Say what you think, keep it simple. Some people have different dispositions and feel it is necessary to qualify remarks, I personally don't for the most part. I answer what I want to answer, and don't have that need. Sometimes I might follow suit, and put together a well thought post, but usually not so much. That's why I rarely post here, but I found some people to be agreeable so I continue. I like the game, trying to like the community, and honestly I don't know of many websites these days that don't have there share of nit pickers. Anyway, no need to feel shamed because you didn't get the correct gerund phrase associated in the plural indicitve along with ten past participles squared to the negative root of I on the quadratic formula, don't you know its all indominably indubilty man?? geez
  3. Depends on the day of the week sometimes. If I you I would hit hammer station flashpoint back to back until you hit 70. You might want to do heroics also because they can give your creds. I ran heroics for about 3-4 hours and made just under a mil, and got good xp from it. However when you can run operations at level 60 I think, run them. FInd a group that doesn't mind if you tag along, and youll get about 10 levels from it
  4. Yeah, there's a saying about the rich, and they don't buy what they don't need. Instead they invest in their values. If you grind out Heroics for a few hours or so, youll come up about a mil ahead. no need to use cartel coins for it.
  5. Good gosh, the man needed to rant about something, let him. As far as the topic, I think personally the crafters will or could drive the cost down. It may start off high, but as soon as the recipe gets out there it will likely go down in price. Ive tried one attempt at controlling a market item in game on another game. I set the price, bought everything that was under my price, and it didn't last very long. I had tons of capital to do it. I set it at a fair price, which was the killer of it all. There were just hands down too many players that drove that price way down. This game pvp and pve can use the armor, so it will be in high demand. Mats will take grinding, and will likely be hard to get at first, then sold at high prices, but more likely the mats will get used initially rather than sold or stowed away. So yeah, I would guess would take some time to drive the price down, but it aint the end all of everything. Not every pvp'r needs or uses best in slot stuff anyway. So this gear could just sit on the market at a high price and not even sell, hence cost going down. I don't know if they have any plans on making any of this stuff cartel market??????? It would definitely but a damper on things. You would have this really cool looking armor that is 5 years old that you just bought off the cartel market, and you cant mod it with anything new?? At some point I would guess if it becomes the norm, which I would guess it does, that the cartel market would need to make some. If this is the case, and they are thinking right, then well...… it says the game isn't going anyway for a while which is good As to why the gear isn't out of command crates is kind of interesting though. Anyway, good topic man, hang in there. There are some cool people on here, just gotta get used to the feel a bit, im new too and don't usually stay on here for long, lol.
  6. WOw, didn't know all or most of the original BIo guys are gone. That sucks man
  7. Havnt followed too much of Bioware since EA. I miss the old Bioware that wrote such amazing stories from the old baldurs gate to Kotor. Poetry just dripping from them, making you feel John Cusac holding up a ghetto blaster to woman of your dreams because nothings gonna get in your way. Man they used to have to that. Why in the heck would EA close the wallet to some pitbulls of story? Well, they may not have closed it, but they sure as heck smothered em so their CEO's can feed their private jets and lay off some starving families. I cant stand corporations for that reason, and hope the heck they break away from them someday. Any game that has me thinking about what character im building while im driving to work has my vote. Of course then was a different time, internet was what 3 or 4 years old then. People weren't grammar checkin you and acting like 6th grade English teachers with a red pen. No internet persona's at that time either yet, 5ft 2 guys mouthin off to 6ft 4 guys didn't happen til later, when the flame wars started, lol. Anyway, needed to rant a bit and hope they do break away from EA because I would like to see some of the Old Bioware
  8. IM returning, so not sure how to remark pvp content. Would it be possible to make a new server that could hold 500 players? If they were able to make new pvp content, why not a massive all out scale battle then? Have it mirror elder scrolls or dark age of Camelot in some way. How much would it cost realistically to get up an running, no clue... You could scale the battle to whatever size. Ex: you go onto planet x where there is a limit of 500 players. While on planet x you get scaled bonuses for taking out a turret or barricade or choke point. what happens is that is order to take out the choke point a mini battle starts and it queues up. there must be x amount of players and they must be on planet x to queue for it. It would be a persist nt battle. If a guild takes over choke point b, then that guild gets a bonus til it no longer has it. You would need to massively intensentivize the zone though. My average long time commitment to a game is 3 years. After that I need to shoot stuff for a while and go back to battlefield. So the question is what is the life expectancy of players? Does the game already have enough to meet that life expectancy? Are the new players feeling as if they cant compete with veterans? I got to level 65 pretty quick, and havnt found it hard, so why would new players leave? I know in any game I play, I say as soon as guild chat dies my guild is dead. My guild has been here for 2 years and a few of us are on discord, and a few chat and run things. There in lies an issue with Star Wars, its a mutt. Its mixed between single player and multiplayer which is great. I need my downtime away from other people so I can pay attention to the story. I could see some things that would help out like guild events or guild bonuses outside of conquest. Im not sure if adding another Flagship would help, but hypothetically if you add another flagship or a fleet to rank up, new bonuses could be implemented that would help pve in some way, and possible pvp. Only reason I mention guilds is because I would expect most of us are in a guild. Well, what does your guild do? Why not give a guild bonus if all players that run an op are in your guild? As for crafting, not sure if that would help out to add more or not or what you would even craft besides mounts...…. SO then I guess why not add it? new schematics for craftable speeders.
  9. I just pm'd you. Let me know what I need to do to join, thanks
  10. i'm playing on it now. just around the update time kept seeing ships with no queue indicator, but I hadn't finished download the full game yet. reset, and let me on.
  11. I would imagine that there is a lot they don't tell us. If I made a game, for example, and I saw that crap, I wouldn't want people that play the game I made to not enjoy it. You have to keep that in mind. It might be cool if they posted a list for us to see of players that have been banned so we get a sense of justice, but I don't know if that's possible
  12. returning player. the missions kind of dragging at the moment because I remember doing them so many times, but dang hard to beat the feel of a good lightsaber in my hand and in "jedi mode" doesn't really get old good stuff
  13. This is a two part question: What do you spend your millions on, and do you need new things to do with credits? Please don't reply with what has been done, or what cant be done. I'm returning player, so I haven't heard every suggestion under the sun, just trying to get a feel for what people think Small comments regarding longevity welcome.
  14. yeah, it was quite nice. in two days and I am level 34. if would have been in grinding mode, I would have pushed 40 easy. dang, was fun anyway
  15. yeah, awesome idea, but I think that the 400,000 voice actors voices may have changed by now, lol sexy Sadie may not sound so good anymore, lol....
  16. I just posted a very similar thing. Add content to the planets, but I would also suggest that giving the planets their own currency to pay for items and missions on that planet. Add a banker that converts to that planets current exchange rate. The rate is based on activity on the planet. Would also allow guild to make their own currency and trade between guilds, but ..... Totally agree, more stuff to do on the planets
  17. Yeah, ive been stuck here watching ships for about 10 minutes, so I guess that's whats up
  18. I'm not getting an error, but I am getting 2mb per second and should be at 20. firewall is checked for public for swtor. I don't remember much about the bit raider stuff other than it was a problem. I guess I should wait till I have an in game problem before I remove it.
  19. Day 1 launch. Played a year. Came back. Left again just when the Reven story came out. Console wars, lol
  20. I think a lot of it is twitch or youtube related in the sense that 15,000 people can be seen watching league of legends..... Is league of legends a better game? Dont know, never played it, but i doubt it. So, may be a bad idea, but why not host a swtor event on twitch? Advertise it for 2 weeks, then launch it. Is it going to beat league of legends, doubt it, but will it bring more players to swtor, ....? Most mmos are very time consuming, and usually you can only run one at a time, ...... So is the question players leaving, or is it lack of acquirung new ones? I think its probably both. I came back because i wanted to get back into pc gaming. Which raises another question, can you bring console players over here? Well, i did.... So if they offered console players, such as battlefront and ea access players a free month subscription, would that be enough? Probably not, so how can ea bring console players to swtor? What if they gave away a hundred computers? Or, what if they gave away a swtor computer, lol? It goes back to the console wars debate, which ultimately is about player preference. Graphics, convenience, all if it factors My opinion is that bringing in new players is key, and my thoughts are a large number of them need to come from console gaming, or even disney So would it look weird to see an ad for a 6 year game on a youtube? No. It would reach console players as well. Ive rambled too much, but i think twitch bandwagon is a factor, and consoles are a factor
  21. Same here, just returning. Played launch, stopped later..... not sure if i want to make a new lvl 60 character or start from scratch because its been so long.
  22. Very good, i missed it yesterday, awesome Thanks
  23. This is an old game so number of cores dont really matter as much as speed. Check your settings turn it all down, and work your way up
