  1. Go male. You get two romance options rather different from each other, while female smugglers only get Corso (the kid's nice to have as a sidekick, but... well, not as a boyfriend - personal opinion of course). The male voice is somewhat better too - the female smuggler sounds like she's trying hard at being snarky, while the male one sounds chilled and constantly amused. :3
  2. You people do realize it's not an infectious disease, right?
  3. ...please. And yes, I'd like to know that too, actually. Haven't seen anyone at all so far (and most people seem to look down on roleplaying for some unexplainable reason).
  4. EU, Red Eclypse aaand in the end I rolled a ruffian Scoundrel, having fun so far, though I guess it might get trickier once I need to keep track of my DoTs.
  5. Thanks to both for the answers, you definitely helped clear up some confusion.
  6. How do you do, fellow kids? I'm new(ish, been playing for almost three weeks now) to SWTOR, and while I love the game itself story/acting-wise, I keep having the feeling that I actually get... worse at it than better, the longer I play. The main issue, I think, comes from the fact that I'm not really used to the whole hotkey management swtor seems to favor (heck, the one MMO I played before this had two bars and six skills in each, so... I guess you get why I find this overwhelming ) and I keep finding conflicting opinions about almost every class whenever I try to make up my mind about picking an AC in the remote possibility of trying endgame PvE and not just story mode. To make a more practical example: I tried a Jedi Sentinel first, but found the whole Focus management through Zen to be...a bit too much for my lazy n00b brain to handle, so I switched to Guardian only to find posts claiming that Vengeance Guardians aren't really that useful and most PUGs won't really roll with a non-tank Guardian anyway. Same story for the second character I created (a scrapper Scoundrel) - apparently, the consensus seems to be "go healer or go home". I wonder... is that really so, or is it just a bad case of "only a Sith deals in absolutes"? And yes, I've tried to go Gunslinger just to see how comfortable I was with it, but the whole Cover -> Nuke the area -> Rinse and repeat playstyle got boring fast. Ssso... after this whole wall of text, I suppose I could sum up my doubts as: how badly am I gimping myself by picking a DD setup for both my Guardian and my Scoundrel, PvE-wise? Any constructive suggestions are welome
