  1. I like the modification ideas well enough, I have long wished they would give us extreme weather effects and the mod idea could go towards countering that kind of effect. The speeder repairs idea is cool as well, but the personal gear I think is a step too far. While we used to do it that way in star wars galaxies, I like not having to worry about those old repair issues, or illnesses. Maybe they will add combat medic to the game and we can throw diseases and poisons on eachother to the point you've only got 1 hp to your char and corpse camp you at the spawn stations like the good old days of swg. My vote is - No, thank you.
  2. ...wait a minute..... my problem is the same one everyone else is having because of bit raider? And here I thought it was just me, and I felt like I had no choice but to re-install the game which I'm doing as we speak. It cost me a day on ilum, missing out on those fragments you can basically only get once a year from this event they didn't announce very well - sigh. I'll never get a red sphere.
  3. What if we could name ourselves whatever name we wanted, but when mailing the specific person the mailbox was changed to ask for the legacy name too, which IS specific to the server? I think that would be even better, than tons of random numbers after everyone's name. Even though it would be hidden, it would still be a pain in the rear and a nightmare I could personally live without.
  4. I agree. It would be a great addition and I would buy it.
  5. I have loved swtor from day one. I beta tested the game, actively posting bugs found, and played the game heavily, purchasing several Collectors Editions and even attended a Cantina event in Phoenix where I live - (may they come back again soon ) With all of my time playing, it has been interesting to see how the game has developed as time has progressed. I still believe this game is an absolute goldmine, and at times it has been frustrating from a players stand point to see things that seem so obvious as good ideas that have not been implemented. Several small and large changes can make a big difference to players when they are deciding to choose to stay or to leave and wait for new content to come out down the road - either progression, or new planets or mechanic changes in general. I would like to name a few things that I would personally love to see happen, and most of these may be long term changes, but I believe they are good ideas and will greatly improve the players overall experience in swtor overall. 1. Most importantly to me - Please add Legacy quests / missions / operations - It is great to have npc followers who have unique backgrounds and side quests, but as great as each one of them are, I would gladly bench all of them in a heartbeat to swap out for my own alternate characters! We have a legacy family tree built into the game that went nowhere, imagine doing an ops mission or a weekly legacy quest with your own alternate characters that have progressed enough in the game to meet an ops requirement to be used in your own legacy missions to earn special legacy rewards - either for strongholds or a class character, etc. It would take the legacy system to a whole new frontier and also supports the solo type system thesis that is coming out with the newest expansion in October. Having my characters interact and talk to eachother via cutscenes etc with the characters personality that has been built into them all through story chapters 1 - 3 would be amazingly awesome. 2. Cartel market items - You know how they constantly re-skin new lightsabers to the point that there are tons of different lightsabers out there that are all generally similar just with a different hilt? What should be done instead is new offhands - special shield generators that provide classes that use that item with their own shielding - that changes color according to the color crystal it was socketed with - that would light up and make different sounds whenever their personal shield is hit. Visuals for the other offhands like vibro knifes and focuses would also be awesome and people would love it. I know there could be a lot of work involved but even just changing them to an offhand visual, and a way to pull them out like an item with a command like control + z works for making speeders do alternate effect would be a step in the right direction. 3. Please change the group finder to require the player to be specced to the role they select - tanks should not be able to que up as healers, or dps as heals that have no intention of healing, just to get a faster que time. 4. Lastly - please change the legacy system level to either have a very large cap number like 1000, or 100,000 and add additional perks / rewards for reaching those levels. 50 cap is very underwhelming and has an overall lack of legacy rewards for reaching maximum level, and people tend to just buy the rewards with cartel coins instead of earning them, which I think is a mistake personally. Bioware needs to make players have a reason to keep playing and earn those achievements as an incentive, not pay to win, or buy their rewards.
  6. sucks I lost, I was hoping to see a post update that never came.
