I think 4v4 is a great idea to keep people who are currently playing. But this issue bioware needs to address is getting people back playing, a lot of people aren't playing right now because they are waiting for ranked WZs(people like to be able to say “haha I am better than you , may rating is 1500 and you are only 1400).
Another simple solution that would help pvping would to have more of an encouragement for pvp such as making the daily and the weekly require less work but give equal or greater reward. From my experience when you pvp on a low pop server one team will always win, and losing gives less reward, both in valor, comms, credits, legacy and daily/weekly completion.
Possible changes to the daily could be
-lower the game requirement from 6 to 3 or 4, having to play 6 losing games is painful
-double the comms for completion, maybe just the wz comms and not the ranked
Possible changed to the weekly could be
-lower the win requirement from 9 to 6
-triple the comms for completion, yet again maybe just the wz comms and not the ranked
As well if you are in full Battle Master and grinding for the War hero gear is stupid because it’s something like 28250 ranked warzone comms to get the set and if you are playing about 3 hours a day its about 400 ranked warzone comms (99 from the daily + 9 game at 100 wz comms per game, 30 to 10 conversion from unranked to ranked comms) so that’s about 10 weeks to farm all of the gear, which is just stupid! Bioware added the gear assuming ranked wzs would be out but they are not so the prices should be lowered so people can see more immediate gear gain which will offer more encouragement to play
