I hoped I would be safe, but after patch I have not been able to play. The launcher starts, takes a while to get to the loading screen with a black screen in-between and a few seconds after that the mouse pointer appears with that time bottle (always forget the name) and, if I open the task manager, game appears as not responding.
The game played perfectly (even if a bit on the low graphics side) until a few minutes before the patch.
What it shows:
Launcher log
Client only goes that far:
2017-01-25T11:50:31.527664 0D4F65A0 INFO Login user: evantz shardaddress: @:: [Client.Startup](playerclient.cpp:PlayerClient::Login:1959)

What I tried so far:
1. reboot pc and rooter
2.changed settings of internet
3. checked firewall ESET and removed protocol protection
4. repaired launcher by deleting bitraider folder and cache file
5. used launcher repair
6. checked server response via cmd
7. completely uninstalled and reinstalled ST launcher
8. deleted config ini
9. uninstalled and reinstalled using the non-streaming option
10. windowed and full screen
11. download dx9 files and installed properly
12. run in compatibility mode to force dx9
13. run even without administrator rights
14.rage quit and hit laptop with fist
Game still the same, starts launcher, goes to play, press play, wait for loading screen, little wheel turns, then stops after a couple of minutes and stays there forever. Task manager shows the two instances (300something MB of RAM and 600something MB of RAM). Small one is not responding, big one seems ok, none uses resources other than memory.
Running on a laptop with windows 10, 64bit OS, 4GB ram, onboard crappy gpu (but it shouldn't matter, as I was playing normally before the patch).
Now what is most annoying is...I have paid for the subscription and with my schedule I have little time anyway, better spent gaming than toying for hours with the game to make it work.
PS> Never noticed, but after I end task on the small RAM eating instance, the other one takes like 5 mins to close. Not sure what it means, just dropping it in.
Anything else to do? Any suggestions at all?
