  1. I'll take it. I thought something was missing.
  2. City of Heroes proved you don't need the Unholy Trinity in PVE. They never got PVP quite right, but they found ways to create really fun synergies without the traditional break-down of roles.
  3. And, really... Why not just fix this feature?
  4. I've noticed this problem with my characters, too.
  5. Indeed. It was a cool system, but too easy to abuse. I would have preferred if (almost) all the rewards had been "virtual rewards" -- bonus XP or Influence that could only be redeemed through standard play. I said "almost." If I were making City of Heroes 2, Player-created missions that were approved by the Dev Team would grant standard rewards.
  6. Not a bad idea. In fact, I wish we could access the Legacy Bank before the first cutscene plays.
  7. I agree. I find all the auto-resets annoying, but the Bonus Series resets are inexcusable. How many casual players can play through a whole series in one week? I often team with a friend who lives on another continent. Given the time difference, Saturday is the only day we can team & not every Saturday works. We'd be lucky to play through an entire Bonus Series in one month, much less one year. We had abandon the Tatooine bonus missions in mid-series because of the auto-reset. In one fell swoop, the Devs made large chunks of content unplayable for casual subscribers.
  8. Of course, minus the cutscene & dialogue. I use terminal all the time when I'm farming. When I'm playing through the storyline, OTOH, I like playing through the cutscenes & making the dialogue choices. It's one on the best features of SWTOR. Under the current system, I get Enemies of the Republic from a dying soldier in the middle of the Works, but if I rest between the Works series & the Ruins of the Jedi Temple, the mission disappears (as well as any Companion bonuses from the dialogue) & I have to skip the mission or re-accept it. If I re-take it from the terminal, the conversation bonuses disappear. If want to re-take the mission from the dying soldier who asked me in the first place, I have to fight through half the Works to get it. Or maybe the mission just slips my mind & I don't experience it as part of my play-through on that character. SWTOR uses this design feature for numerous Heroic missions throughout the game: A Heroic mission granted in one zone or region but played in the next. It's a good design feature, or it was before the auto-reset messed up the whole thing.
  9. All of my Companions have kept their original gear. No offense, but what are you talking about?
  10. To whatever extent the Daily & Weekly resets were introduced to facilitate Galactic Seasons, someone is letting the tail wag the dog. I like Galactic Seasons, but I don't want it to interfere with my Toons completing their storylines. These resets (almost all of them) make it harder to keep track of which Missions I've completed & which ones I haven't. If I accept a Heroic Mission on Monday, but don't get to finish the Heroic the same day, it vanishes. If I return to that toon on Friday, I have no way of knowing if I've run that Heroic. I may not even see the Contact who gave me the Mission. For example, I had to run Enemies of the Republic on Coruscant out of order just to avoid the Heroic vanishing from my Mission List. I could have gone to the Contact again, but (1) the poor solider already died giving me the mission once; making him die again would just be rude, and (2) he's somewhere in the middle of the Works. This set-up works great for farmers who've already completed all the storylines, but I haven't finished all the storylines, & I find the whole thing to be an enormous headache. And now I'm trying to remember if my Bounty Hunter completed the Nar Shaaddaa Bonus Series so he & Make can go to Tatooine. I don't think so, but I don't remember for certain. And if I do try to complete the Bonus Series, I have to remember whether or not I completed each mission. And there's no in-game for tracking that. Plus, I have to complete the entire Bonus Series in one week. I can do that, but it's not relaxing or enjoyable to follow that strict timetable for every single one of my toons. What's the point of having a Legacy System if you're going to punish players who play their entire Legacy? Did the Devs listen to feedback from anyone who wasn't a veteran farmer? Granted that's exactly the kind of person that plays on the test server, but they took availability bias into account, right? Right?
