  1. Back on topic. I think your ideas are very interesting, Ziggoratt. However, they (correct me if I am wrong) seem to rest on the assumption that the Dark Side of the Force is a tool, rather than an inherently evil power. Whether or not this assumption is correct depends on the metaphysics of the Star Wars universe, which could be anything. It is entirely possible that the Force is dualistic in nature, and that good and evil DO exist as separate entities. In such a reality, the individuals would be the tools of the Force, rather than vice versa, similarly to the Zoroastrian and Christian mythologies. Unfortunately, we would never know on which of these two metaphysical realities the Star Wars universe is based.
  2. So, in other words your post was "1)... directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining." Hmm,... You mean your post was "2. relating to or associated with a particular person." It seems that with the "coddled millennial pseudo-moralist" remark you managed to encompass both meanings of ad homenum. Great job!
  3. That in and of itself is a weakling's thought. A truly powerful Sith wouldn't care about "political correctness" and would act mercifully whenever he/she feels like it. After all, "feeling" is the main source of power, right?
  4. Honestly, so far I haven't seen anything as appealing as the Initiate Set for my Vigilance Guardian. It has no hood and it matches my idea of how Jedi robes should look like. You can get it from the lvl. 7 vendor on Republic Fleet.
  5. I am LOVING the Vigilance Guardian. First of, as a new player, I really enjoy figuring out the skills and rotations for myself before looking up the "bestest most efficientest way to play" type of guides. This class / spec is perfect for that, since the rotation is logical and straight forward. After I DID look up a guide at level 50, I honestly barely changed the order of my rotation. I haven't delved deep into the other classes, but from what I have been reading, straightforward rotations aren't common. Second, the play-style of this class made me feel like a single-bladed duelist, which is what I wanted for my Jedi Knight. I started a Consular first (due to RP reasons), but was disappointed that I barely used my saber during fights. My Vigilance Knight looks and plays like a true samurai.
