  1. Two rounds straight we denied the opposing team their pylon, one time we stole it and ended the round with 2. We go into the 5th round with a 250 point lead, both teams take a pylon, and our team LOSES despite a 250 point cushion (we had 560, they had 311). They got 380 points from their pylon, we only got 120 despite bringing more orbs than they did.

What in the hell? How is this fair?

  2. There is no improved value in compass directions on small well known maps.

You get value from compass directions when there's absolutely nothing else to refer to.

This can be seen and heard in various competitive game streams.

But above all, people don't care. They are in a disorganised group with you and have no prior agreement on calls or even giving a damn. An organised team could use anything and get the job done.

People should start caring then. No matter how bad my team is or how bad of a day I'm having myself, I try my best and play to win every game. It's not just about "oh ill try to get my 8 medals and then afk for gear."

  3. Because many people don’t know whether you’re referring to the direction on their mini-map or the direction their character is facing. The two can become conflated, especially in the middle of a battle. Besides, as long as people know what you’re talking about, why does it matter what language you use to call out?

And it’s not like most teams actually heed callouts, anyway. I’ll make callouts, but nine times out of ten, I don’t actually expect help to come.

I can understand the confusion if you just say left or right, because that's vague and can be interpreted as a matter of perspective, but East and West is very clear. You look at the minimap, east is whatever is on the right side of the map, west is whatever is on the left side of the map. It's not hard.

  4. Why am I getting random 4v4s against all Shadow/Operatives or a complete RATED comp (Tank, 2 DPS, Healer) and I am stuck EVERY SINGLE TIME with 4 random DPS (never a quad comp of the same type!) and half the team is way under-geared (yadda yadda yagga gear doesn't matter in PVP (untrue) yadda yadda yadda)

I only see this on the OTHER team. I never see our comp set up as a rated team (standard tank/healer/2 dps) or 4 stealth of the same class that can rick roll you in less than 2 seconds.

If your idea is to make people want to just quit the game, unsub and delete the game, you're on the right track with this HORRIBLE comp matchmaking setup.

    Utterly disgusting.

Then start queueing with a premade. That's what the bulk of 4v4 teams do. Stop queueing solo and stack a team if you want to win 4v4s.

  5. thought it was the one I was in.

only recognized one name, that was in the one I was. same thing, 6-0. And my team wouldn't leave or go for that ball. Sure is Frustrating when a team that thinks just attacking (Deathmatch) is the only objective, and not doing well at that either.

The other team was organized, obvious they had coms, or maybe just aware ( really good) cuz when some one went for that ball they were all on them like flies on Shi . . . .poo. Like it should be.

I seem to always be stuck in teams that play like this, if I was look at mt PvP stats, probably have one win to every 10 matches. I feel bad for the 1 or 2 other players that do know what their doing and stuck like me on a team that plays like that. I far from being decent at PvP, but I can blame targeting issues that I seem to have .

But Yeah the other team was way better, and dominated, and very organized pretty . . . similar as the video that was posted here

Sure, he was on the inferior team, but judging by his UI and his decisions during the game, it's no mystery why he did so poorly. Had he actually focused on the objective and not tried to 1v1 everyone he ran across, he probably would've still lost from the lack of coordination on his team, but it wouldn't have been no 6-0 whitewash.

Huttball is an objective game, you can't play it like a free-for-all brawl. You've got to play for the ball, you've got to pass it, run it, keep it out of enemy hands, and attack the one who has it. Period.

  6. That's insane I'll pop online this weekend and craft some kits and dump them on the gtn for like a mil got u fam.

If you're doing that I'll take 14 directly to mail, send me a price. I'm only getting blue augments just so my gear has something, but it's cheap enough that 1 OEM-37 more than covers it.

  7. 50 mill per kit? What server? You sure that is regular price and not because you happend to search for kits when there was low stock in gtn?

I know i have sell some for even more in StarForge; but regular price for a single kit is 1.8 to 2.5 Mill.

For less than 50mill you can actually buy purple augments.

But considering the content you play, it is not whort it until they fix the augments for level sync areas like PvP. So, not before 7.1 and even after that i would wait and see how well/bad it actually work.

    Satele Shan.

  8. Looking to augment any i326 PvP purples I get with i276 blue augments, but at 50 million per kit alone, nevermind the augment itself, that seems like a LOT of money.

I mostly do heroics, warzones and GSF. Is it even worth trying to augment my gear right now with 7.1 around the corner?

  9. I mean, with the exception of 4v4 Arenas, Warzones are objective-based games. You play for the objective. In Huttball, you take the ball to the enemy teams goal, you pass to teammates to keep the ball in play. In Alderaan, Denova, Yavin, etc, you attack the enemy node and defend your own. In Voidstar you plant the bomb and defend the doors.

It's not hard. You don't play Warzones like a TDM. That's now what they are.

  10. Yup that's the idea. Buy the slots with the WZ-1s where u could get unlucky with a drop.

Still tho, there is a way to force the exact drop u want every time. Let's say for example u want the tank gloves to drop. Equip all 326 gear no matter the rating, it could be all green gear. Equip green 324 gloves and make sure ur loot preference is set to tank. Open a pvp loot box and the 326 purple tank gloves will drop.

The idea behind this is that they want the loot crate to be an automatic upgrade, so if u have only one piece of gear equipped that can be upgraded that's what will drop.

Alright, so just wait until I have all 324 greens, use my WZ comms to selectively upgrades the pieces I want that could be unlucky, and then as my pool of 324 gear gets smaller and smaller, it'll be easier to force what I want out of the crates?

I'm gonna save the crates for a couple of weeks then, until I've knocked out a couple of my pieces.

  11. No if your Loot is for tank it will "upgrade" to a tank piece but you still keep the old piece.

Ah, okay, so it's still luck of the draw if I get a piece that I want. Several Vigilance pieces have Accuracy, which I'm trying to avoid, so perhaps I should spend my Warzone comms to auto-326 a slot I know could have Accuracy if unlucky (like my Earpiece, upgrade to 326 Adept immediately so I don't get unlucky with a 326 Initiative) and save the boxes for when I'm down to slots I know will guarantee me a piece I need (Force Lords gloves/pants, Pummelers everything else, etc)?

  12. It really depends on a few different things. First off if you have more than one level 80 char it's gonna help it go faster because you can finish 3 weeklies for 3 guaranteed loot box upgrades. If you have another lvl 80 force user turn him to a guardian/jugg as his 2nd combat style If u want to make the process go faster, then u double ur loot boxes, triple ect.

If u only have one toon, you can do the weekly 3 times for unranked wzs and u can also do the weekly 3 times for GSF. So you can get a total of 6 auto upgrades a week (again on one toon).

You should get around 330 wz-1 comms from 3 weekly missions, which can upgrade u one piece of PVP gear from 316 all the way to 326. Keep in mind I do think there is a cap on the weekly amount of WZ-1s you can get. So in theory you could have 7 auto upgrades a week on one toon.

Now here's the part where planning comes in. As I said those loot crates auto upgrade ur gear no matter what. So if ur wearing 324 greens, and u open a pvp loot box (thyrisian) a 326 purple will drop. So to save time cheese the gear mechanics as much as possible. If ur starting at zero gear and ur a fresh lvl 80, do the heroic weeklies first and upgrade all ur gear to green 324s before u even open a pvp loot box.

You can have full 326 purples in around two weeks if u really wanna grind hard enough. Only thing preventing you from getting the gear quicker is the weekly caps they put on the currency.

So wait, if I just start with 320 Conquest greens and open pvp boxes, I automatically get 322 PvP gear?

Will the upgrade always be the same kind of gear it was before? I.E if I have a 324 Force Lords gloves, will the box be 326 Force Lords even if my Loot Discipline is Tank or Vigilance?

  13. i330 golds for Implants, of course, but how long to go from no gear to full i326 PvP purples doing Unranked Dailies and Weeklies?

Defense Guardian going for Tank Shield, Force Lords Gloves and Pants, Pummelers Weapon/Wrist/Belt/Boots/Chest/Helm/Earpiece (none of it has Accuracy), Fearless Victor and Champion's Precision Implants, and Serendipitous Assault/Focused Retribution Relics.
