I am just looking for an answer to this lag. I get the "red x" every time I get into the game and the server is lightly crowded. After, it begins to lag... the ms will go up by a thousand every few seconds. The game is basically unplayable for me and I just subscribed a week ago. I would also like to add that I am supposed to be playing in US West which is where I am from. Just to test it... I made two other characters in different servers. The lag persists in every server I have a character on. What could the problem be and how can I fix this???
