Well, the graphics are pretty low in the first place. Texture quality/detail is high and so is character quality/detail. Would lowering those make a difference?

I tried to repair the launcher but the ST still doesn't show. I updated the driver version (15.28.24.64.4229) but the chapter intro still crashes on me. Should I wait for the 5.1 update/maintenance or what?

Tell me about the YouTube thing. Ugh. I also use a laptop. Sure not the best thing but it works. I can't play KotFE Ch 2. Ch 14 was working fine though. I saw that lowing the graphics might help. Did that work for you? I tried that Intel scan. Got nothing.

I know that just before it shows "A long time ago", either a black screen or a blip of your character in chat, that you hit Esc and click exit, you'll character will be transported to the fleet. Tested it with my character. Very, very relieved that she's free.

I believe so. A 64 bit. But I know I had to delete files and change settings for the game (or else I would be forever stuck on the beginning planet). So do I need to reinstall because KotET needs those files or do I just need to wait for an update/maintenance?

I have the same problem too. Don't know how to fix it though... Is Bioware going to fix their game or be a dud and let everyone smash their computers in frustration?
