I think 23 is probably gonna get in with probably the 3rd and 4th waves... I Know for sure some 22s got in with the second, and you just KNOW there were more on the 21 than the 22, so...

'twas, they're just being over-cautious, because launch is going to be worse than the stress test and they know it. That was more to figure out how many servers they needed than anything, I think.

I've got a reliable secondhand report that a 7/22 preorder definitely got in with wave 2(Old Guildie from SWG relayed via my Guildmaster) Make of that what you will.

I could've told you that was probably gonna be the case last week. There's always a huge spike the first day, and then it trails off over time. The first day is probably only gonna be July and MAYBE part of august if they're lucky, I'm guessing.

What's really funny about this: "account closure" generally means 'you've been permabanned'.

Just going off the forums, and twitter, and stuff. Lot of people from 7/21 were complaining they didn't get in with the first wave. Some people from 7/22 claim they got in with the second. So yeah.

Given that joining a guild on the site isn't a firm commitment, and they can't tell for sure what server you're going to roll on before you do, this is rather a load. Some guilds aren't rolling on their assigned servers anyway: I know some of the old SWG Starsider guilds are rolling on my server instead of their assigned server, because like 4 of the old Starsider guilds got assigned there. So no, they really can't use that for anything, as it's far from accurate.

Well we just now got people from 7-22 saying they got in. I did mine on 7-22 but the site says 7-23 (must've been just after midnight or something), and I'm not in yet... 8-13 is probably gonna be awhile.

They don't know for certain, as it's entirely possible that people registered with a guild months ago, and have drifted away from it since without bothering to change their affiliation on the site. It happens.

You mean the one that was positive on the first post? Even though Stephen Reid posted on one of the other threads? Also: 7/22 (site says 7/23 but it LIES), and Still no access in the second wave. Now at SEVERELY annoyed.

My ISP Got rid of the spam folder about 2 years ago. It just deletes them now.

Actually, I wouldn't consider 'we'll send it to you when you're allowed in' to be 'fair'. a warning, yes, but not fair. Since they gave people no idea whatsoever of when they could expect to get in, we were left to form our own expectations. Angry people is the inevitable result.

Actually I can blame bioware for this, because waiting to send the e-mail until you actually get access is just cruel. I didn't need to get up at 6:45 am and be sleepy all day, because I wasn't allowed in, but I had to get up to find that out! Right now I'm more upset about that than anything. I'm not going to get as much play in as I could've now because I woke up early, and I'm going to get tired early, regardless of when I get in. I may forgive them if I get in today. If I don't, I'm going to be LIVID.

You're not on a server until you're allowed in to create a character. Your GUILD might be, but you don't HAVE to roll on that server OR join that guild.

I've been waiting for this game since Galaxies died. I can't really afford to spend the money to buy it but I'm doing it anyway. And I woke up at 6:45 am and I'm NOT a morning person, and can't get back to sleep. I'm tired and cranky to begin with, and then don't get let in when my friends, who preordered a mere day before I did, do. So yeah, you can bet I'm upset.

I WAS excited... I figured hey, I preordered on the 22nd, I should get in right away, right? So I'm annoyed and bitter instead of excited now. Largely because I'm tired as heck and can't get back to sleep.

I entered mine on the 22nd, less than an hour after I pre-ordered, and I'm not in.

Preordered and registered 7/22, the instant I found out you could, expected first wave. This is why the e-mails shouldn't be going out at the last minute, as I'm now quite tired and unable to go back to sleep. Woke up at 6:45 am to play, not to stare at my e-mail or twitter. At highly annoyed, going to be 'fully enraged' if I don't get in today.
