  1. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'd say that everyone in game is a soloer to some degree, due to the nature of much of the game's quest content. Game mechanics are important but in this day and age, cosmetic appearances and presentation should be just as important, especially since this is an MMO bearing the action packed Star Wars aesthetic. I definitely think that i'm part of the casual end of the game when compared to organized raiders. I still clock in several hours of gameplay at a time, though.
  2. While the /agent legacy emote shows off two blades. I think one is enough. I wouldn't be opposed to them adding more close combat abilities though. A standard knife attack other than Shiv would be cool so we don't stand toe to toe with enemies shooting them in the face whilst getting hacked to pieces.
  3. Hah! I was just about to post asking the same thing! I want to use my electrostaff/vibroblade with all of my abilities! Not everyone wants to use a lightsaber. Sith Warrior is able to use most of their abilities with a vibroblade, the same should be made true for Sith Inquisitor.
  4. If you have a healing spec or some lethiality you could get away with using some cover in groups. Also, it's a good idea to hit the cover/crouch key just so you can use explosive probe real quick for a boost of dps and then go back to melee.
  5. I think they should change the attack animation for either Shiv or Debilitate so that they aren't the same exact one with different particle effects. It makes me sad. Every other melee attack animation is unique except for those two.
  6. As a concealment operative, I really like the ability to use hidden strike. However, in many quests we're forced to wing it without the use of any stealth or hidden strike. This is due to the fact that many bonus and story objectives involve activating a device or object that: 1. Takes the Operative out of stealth. 2. Locks an enemy onto you the minute they spawn so you can't just stealth in. 3. Using smoke screen causes you to break off aggro resulting in the mob fully regenerating health or despawning entirely. Okay okay, I get it. It's not supposed to be easy and smoke screen is largely used to escape a bad situation. However, a lot of our solo survivability has to do with stealth. Would it be unreasonable to allow us to use smoke screen just to get one last hidden strike in or to some other effect? Maybe make it so the mob gives us one extra second or two to jump back into the fight before resetting? Maybe make it so our companion doesn't get pulled into stealth with us and the mob stays engaged? I'm sure there are a few different solutions that could be employed. I mean, I'm making due with what we've got... but especially now that backstab and hidden strike have been given these bigger cooldowns with 1.2; that extra hidden strike mid battle would help a lot in PVE. The other side of the coin is that it's kind of an immersion breaker to have one of the key elements of the operative's class denied all use during nearly every iconic or heroic quest battle I send him into. It's hard to feel like a awesome secret agent ninja when your stealth is useless due to a trivial game mechanic like aggro. We can stealth out for a quick shot while fighting in groups. Why not when we're solo too?
  7. Can we expect the Legacy 1.2 race unlocks to be followed up with the addition of some completely new races? I want a trandoshan bounty hunter. Also, I don't care if they're fully voiced or not. I just want them. Use recycled alien filler audio for the dialogue and I'll be set. Or just plug the existing voiceovers for the basic speaking races like the ones we have so far.
