Wouldn't it make more sense to figure out the solution to the problem first, and THEN disable the servers to apply said solution? Maybe disable whatever functions will lead to the problem in the meantime? I mean some of us haven't ever even messed with Alliance Alert missions. Not exactly fair to shut down all servers for an issue not vital to story progression.
