I understand that you can't just go into a chapter and start switching specific choices around since the decision tree would get all messed up. But why can't you just reset progress back to a certain point and start again? I REALLY regret choosing the Rule as Empress option, it clashes with my character identity so bad.

I knew that I couldn't respec. I didn't know that Operative sucked Bith balls. Now I'm simply wondering why I can't now that I have regrets.

Okay. Why? I would figure this is just another way for EA/Bioware to scam a little more money out of us but that doesn't even seem to be the case since the cartel market doesn't have anything either. Which returns to my "why?". I chose Operative because when I read the description is sounded cool. Then I realized it SUCKED. Now I want to switch to Sniper but the game blocks me from this for no good reason.
