Hi, I just started playing not too long ago and had to do a system restore for a problem unrelated to SWTOR. When I did the restore, I thought I'd have to redownload SWTOR again but the files were still there which was nice. What wasn't nice, however, was the launcher being stuck in what I'm just calling 'old' mode. It's the appearance of the launcher before it gets updated while downloading the game. I found a reddit thread while searching for a solution with a link to a launcher repair tool, and when I ran the tool it changed my launcher to the new updated version and proceeded to 'download' files infinitely at -100% for about an hour until I closed it and tried to reopen the launcher, only for it to be the old launcher again. I can still actually play the game just fine, having run around Voss for some time and even selling items to players. Why the launcher won't change is confusing to me, and if it's going to be a problem in the long run I'd like to fix it. If not I'm fine with just using the old launcher if it won't matter.
