  1. You've a couple choices. A) Play another game during downtime. B) Spend all the downtime complaining about it. C) Cancel your sub and play for free. I too work crazy-long hours. When something is inaccessible during my game time? I play something else and use my game time, for gaming. But hey, if you're into Choice B, ghead. Enjoy your game time however you like.
  2. No. I don't make it sound like that in the least. There's no update. That's what I made it sound like. As was mentioned above, pay for a month, get a month of play time. Other MMO's? This doesn't happen. 'The Dev's' should have their **** together instead of treating servers like some browser based bushleague garbage. Instead of hammering away on the login, I did something more enjoyable. Such as Fallout 4.
  3. We're aware. As the multiple threads on this very topic show.
  4. Same. Wondering how much of the game I'd be missing out on without my sub. I know another MMO that this goofy **** doesn't happen on. Just saying...
  5. No updates, no server status down, no nothing. As per usual, whenever there's an outage. Basically, play something else for an hour or two, come back and check.

    Custom Sets

Thanks for the heads up. Had a hunch it was mostly RNG driven. Just want my stupid Jedi Hood outfit. Pretty stereotypical.

    Custom Sets

So missions can critical? News to me. Thanks for the heads up on Gift Missions. Haven't done a single one yet, as I've zero interest in if my crew likes me or not : P And look at that. Medium Armor for a Sith Warrior or Imp Agent. La de da. Horray for UT then.

    Custom Sets

Soooo just keep hammering on UT and the schematic missions will pop up instead of Luxury Fabrics and Metals? Or does your companion just drag one back after doing one of those types of missions?

    Custom Sets

Alright then. I'll just keep running UT missions until I get a stupid hood. Annoying. Swear it was easier back in the day.

    Custom Sets

That's changed from years ago, right? I don't remember it being from GTN/UT. Memory isn't the best these days though. I remember running around with a hooded Jedi by 28. Not happening this time around tho.

    Custom Sets

Way back in the day (When last I played), I specifically remember being able to make Custom Armor (Orange Sets). Is that still possible? Or has it long since been removed? Admittedly, I've read no guides or anything on Synthweaving and how it's changed over the last 3-ish years.

    WoW-itis?

You don't interest me enough to illicit more of a response than the following: Meh. Thanks very much for that. Noticed it just prior to leaving the first planet. Saw it hidden in there. DPS may be the way to go. Cat walk indeed.

    WoW-itis?

The problem I find is the lack of challenge in leveling. Enemies are steam rolled. Pull 10-12 or more at a clip. It's not hard. Wasn't that way 'back in the day' in terms of large patches. You'd be rolling around in your 30's, hit an area with Elites, and you'd either get a friend, leave the area, or try to do it solo. And most likely eat it. Sure, you can do X other storylines. But with no challenge? No sense of 'Crap. I may die doing this quest'? I'm confused as to why anyone would bother without things being at the very least, moderately difficult. WoW is having the same issue right now also. The game is catering to Johnny Casual so they can feel a sense of accomplishment, plowing through content in the mad rush to max level. I reread what I wrote. I don't believe I was comparing difficulties. Why does posts refer to the largest MMO in human history? Are you honestly asking that question? I also never said SWTOR was ever harder than WoW. You added a lot to the discussion. Thumbs up.

    WoW-itis?

*Sigh* Thanks for the heads up. Will dump my shiny new sub. Such a bummer.

    WoW-itis?

Possible. I'll double back and check. Hope that's the case, though I'm really thinking not. I.E. That one quest on Tython with the two Padawans that were betrothed or whatever, against the councils policy of no emotions, etc. They'd hang out by the Droid area in the south part of the map.
