  1. UPDATE: Also crashes when changing graphics properties and chat colors.
  2. This issue has begun with the most recent patch and has never existed in any form on any of the computers I play the game on. Facts:: My game crashes instantaneously and with no windows crash code/report every time I look at my map WITH A MISSION OBJECTIVE TRACKED IN THE AREA, and hover over the objective. If I am on the fleet I can track missions as well as look at the map without crashing. If I were to take a Heroic Transport to an area and then check the map to see where the area is, I crash. If I take a Heroic Transport to an area, then UNTRACK the mission before looking at the map, I do not crash. The game crashed even with the option enabled to "Display map notes for untracked missions." Knowing this, in addition to the absence of many other reports flowing through this section, I conclude that the issue is isolated to certain machines/OS versions that were untested with the recent patch (Inferring there was testing at all, but that's for another day). Has anyone had this issue and been able to fix it? otherwise it looks like I'm gonna be out of a game soon.
  3. http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-i5748-5000sLV-17-3-Inch-Laptop/dp/B00K4PATR0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1452750458&sr=8-4&keywords=dell+inspiron+5748 Yeah I just checked and im only using about 140gb of my main drive now so space shouldn't be an issue.
  4. Should I do some research to figure out if this is compatible with my laptop or are they standard? And is 240 enough to hold Windows 10 + SWTOR comfortably? My main concern would be that if I got this I would have to buy an HDD as well to put all of my other games on since I have only 1 internal slot.
  5. I have a standard laptop that runs the game fairly well on decent settings with a 5400rpm 1TB HDD. If I were to buy a 128gb external SSD with ~400MB/s speeds (exact one http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-128GB-External-Solid-TS128GESD400K/dp/B00K75U6G6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1456185905&sr=8-1&keywords=128gb+external+ssd) and just put SWTOR on it, would I notice a significant increase in load times for Ops and other instances. Right now if I am on a planet and use a H2 travel to a diff heroic on the same planet I can get there in a few seconds, but it takes close to a minute or more for OPs. Will I be getting $70 worth of decreased load times out of this or not? Thanks.
  6. "We'll never go this long without new raid content again"-sometime after SoR lol The past year has brought less group content updates than a console title; One of the most prominent raid designers leaves the team; Widespread broken raids that could be considered gamebreaking, no fix for 2 patches; Bioware is just barely hanging on to a thread in an embarrassing attempt to keep the world believing that they actually run an MMO; while they watch the insiders who know better flee.
  7. Character title awarded for reaching level 50 influence with each companion. Example: Reaching 50 with Blizz would grant PlayerName the Big Boss.

    Gear Tabs

This would be one of the biggest QoL changes to hit the game since launch, and by looking at the design of the Outfit Designer, it isn't very far-fetched. There are tabs that allow you to swap between outfits on demand, without having any of the actual items in your inventory. More tabs can be purchased with credits, thus allowing you to equip more sets of outfits at a single time. We NEED this exact mechanic, but with actual STAT GEAR. I should be able to pull up the creation menu and tab between gear sets just as with outfits, and not be forced to carry around a PVE DPS set, PVE Tank set, PVP DPS set, and PVP Tank set just to save a trip to the cargo bay every time I change gears. This is a change that I'm sure has been mentioned since day 1, but with the way the outfit designer works and the amount of quality it would bring in comparison to seemingly more complicated measures, my question is, why not now?
  9. Does this also mean that tanks are going for the actual tanking hilts/barrels for the extra end as well or still picking up the DPS ones for threat?
  10. I used to tank on all 3 classes all the way up to release of HM Tos/Rav when I stopped playing. Now that I return to start gearing my PT, I find that with a full set of "optimized" 216/220 gear @5100+ defStat pool, I sit at around 70k stimmed. This received a few complaints from some EV HMers and I've now learned that endurance is apparently a much bigger deal. From what I can find to read, a couple bosses in HM+ hit for upwards of 70kish so the extra HP is needed, but my question is what has changed? Can you no longer mitigate these high damage attacks? Or more specifically, what is the reason that B-Mod tanks are considered optimized today when they were once considered poorly geared? (I believe KBN's old math was 1:25 ratio for mitigation:end for it to make sense)
