i was logged in. left my pc. came back was logged out with no servers in the list. the servers came back up and they all said -1 population...and now the same problem everyone else is having.

devs. do you remember what the word fun means? disregard all the fluff and hostility and insults from trolls that are enjoying all the anger since the patch. its a simple question "do you remember what the word fun means?" if yes, you know what to do. so do it. show us you still know what fun means, and that you understand we WERE having it before Tuesday, and that you understand were NOT having it now.

so essentially what youre saying is "we dont care what anyone had to say we went ahead and did what we wanted regardless" this is where devs go wrong with the changes they make to games. its simple. read what im saying and leave your own personal holier-than-thou developer biased judgements at the door. beter yet dont even read what ive typed here. go in the game and see what the players are saying instead of the regular forum trolls that whine constantly instead of playing the game. theres a completely different environment in the game than there is in these forums. completely different opinions of what "fun" means. as it is (or was now i suppose) the game was fun. simply fun. why isnt that good enough? leave all the bs about "challenge" and "hardcores want this or that" way over there in the ether somewhere... the. game. was. fun. i dont know what its going to be like now. ill find out later when everyone else does i guess. but i can say this with full confidence. ive quit this game because of devs doing stupid things to it once before. if they have taken the fun out of the game again i wont be playing it ... again. are you not paying attention? you made the game fun and there has been an influx of paying customers because of it. leave it alone and let us have fun morons. *** is your problem with letting people have fun in a game?!? instead of messing with things that make the game fun why dont you change things that cause the game to NOT be fun? if you need to nerf something that bad why dont you nerf all the stealth classes that can unload over 45k dmg in 3 cool downs? and on top of that they automatically laugh as theyre doing it. as a class design. they laugh because you know theyre op. you designed them that way. leave things alone that make people want to play. leave the followers alone. let them heal us so we can focus on the story not the tedium of trying to stay alive and dyeing every few encounters. because of some delusion you have of what the word "challenge" means. i get challenges in the real world. i dont need them in games. i play games for fun. stop intentionally trying to give me reasons NOT to play the game you made. LET ME HAVE FUN IN A GAME, ******ES. leave your delusions and god complexes out of it. people are having fun. leave it alone. here i have an analogy for you. lets see if this helps you to understand what youre doing to this game. at all. picture it. youre in a desert. you come across an oasis full of safe food and clean water. youve dealt with the challenge of getting to the oasis and out of the desert already. but then someone in your group has an idea. "hey why dont we infect our safe food and clean water with something to give ourselves a challenge now that were here?. because we dont want it to be easy and boring do we? we need a challenge dont we?" are you going to listen to that guy and infect your food and water or are you gonna ignore that guy and be in a safe place you can have fun without worry? (btw for the people that will say "are you seriously comparing this game to the reality of starving to death?" why yes i am and thank you for noticing. thats how analogies work. you get a cookie!) [edit] something just occurred to me. i wonder out of all those saying "THE GAME IS SOOOOO EASY" how many of them are playing the OP stealth classes that can pretty much 1 or at most 3 shot everything, and wanna ruin everyone elses fun while never pointing a finger at the class they play as the culprit for their boredom? has the truth come out? am i about to get replies from a lot of angry trolls for admitting the real truth of whats going on here? lets wait and see shall we?

i am a returning player. i quit the game years ago when it went ftp, and bioware/ea stole all my good toons names and gave them to other players. the game has changed and gotten a lot more fun and its worth playing again so here i am. we need access to more names and better naming options. the naming pool is just too limited as it is and things need to change. id like to play more classes but i just simply cant bring myself to have any stupid names of random words or short statements thrown together. things like "imajedilol" or "noobkiller" just arent the way for me to go. i want actual names. ingame yes. i know my forum name is just two random words but the forum environment isnt the same as ingame. im not a roleplayer but i still want to set the stage for my toon, and having a good name is how i do that. some things need to happen. 1 - free up names on ftp and frozen or closed accounts. (i know there are some because one of them is mine) youve done it once its time to do it again. 2 - give us better naming options like having first and last names. this needs to be retroactive for toons that already exist. 3 - allow the same names to be used on different servers. you can hyphenate the name with the server name (wow does it) or have an asterisk next to the name to denote a different server. the player base has been growing lately and we need more names.

cant find the right place to put this so ill just ask here. i had an account that i created at the launch of this game but i cant access it. the account still exists afaik but i cant get in. ive tried recovering my password but apparently the account is registered to an old email that no longer exists. (hotmail btw) how do i recover my account?

we need access to more names. theres nothing left worth using. even all the random names are taken. and i refuse to name myself anything like "Imasithlawl" i want actual names for my toons that fit their classes and races. even if only in my mind. i need my toons to be personal not just random nonsense. suggestion to remedy this: give us second and third names. allow us to choose whether to make it a first middle or last name. this would improve the chances of everyone having a more original name and make it easier to create characters too. also allow more than one person to use the same name just in different combinations. example: Sith Von Jedi Jedi Von Sith same words..different names. this has to be available upon character creation and as an addition (free btw not something to buy in the market) to toons already created so we can choose whether or not to add a first or last name at our leisure. this game seems to be growing in popularity lately...btw kudos on the changes the games much more fun now... and we need more and better naming options.
