  1. I just transferred from Harbinger to Ebon Hawk. Reason being, I've recently become very interested in RPing in SWTOR. I have a lot of experience with roleplaying in general from other games, and have done my share of researching the specifics of the aspect. I have three characters I plan on RPing with, consisting of a Bounty Hunter, (my main), my Inquisitor, and my Warrior. Does anyone know of a Heavy-RP Guild for Sith, Hunters, or mixed? I'm looking for a fairly active guild and I'm excited to begin roleplaying. I've even been working on lore and templates for my characters. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
  2. I'd put this in bugs, but it was in bugs November of last year so hopefully someone found a fix by now. I just beat the purifier droids inside the "base of operations" on Iokath in Chapter IV of KOTET. Problem is, now I can't talk to Vette. When I attempt to, the music plays but it shows the exact same position my character was in and a blank spot where I'm supposed to be. No dialogue, no movement. This never happened in my BH playthrough. I tried traveling to the fleet and back, restarting the game, etc. In the bug forum thread about it, players said they tried resetting the chapter and setting their graphics to minimum with no luck. I can't progress the story until I get a fix. Does anyone know how to solve this? I went three days on vacation and I'm very eager to continue my warrior...
  3. That's a good point. Like I said, I don't personally think there would have been anything between them. I just believe it's a possibility. And I don't think BioWare would do that to the BH class. But yes, I agree Torian was very sincere when reuniting with the female hunter (I've watched it on YouTube). I just like to speculate and theorize. And really, I myself never saw the potential for anything between them until I found out it was a thing in the class story. Apparently they have some flirting moments if you support it and don't romance either. *Shrug*
  4. One thing that has made me curious in the expansions is the relationship between Mako and Torian. He tells the BH when you see him again that he and Mako stuck together after the team had a falling out. Is it possible Mako and Torian were a couple for a while? It's never confirmed or heavily implied really. My fellow hunters know how long it took to romance Mako in the main class story, so I'm not convinced she'd move on to Torian after her husband, another Mandalorian, just "died". But I have heard that if you choose not to romance either companions in the original story, there is some flirting between the two. It's possible they could have hooked up on Carratos. Considering I started hitting on Lana as soon as I got out of carbonite, it would be unfair for her not to move on as well. Although, when Torian sees you again, he seems genuinely happy that you're alive even to venture to call you his brother. Not that "Oh God it's the dead guy who's wife I banged" look. And when he sees the female BH again, Torian immediately tries to rekindle the relationship. So if they were ever together, it's clear they aren't anymore. Of course, this is all wild speculation. I doubt it's canon. There is much more evidence against it than for it. I don't know. I plan on continuing my romance with Mako when she returns to the story, but to me idea that the two of them could have been in a relationship for a while is cute. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Valkorian even says something along the lines of love that is not alive being forgotten and said person moving on. Personally, I don't think they were. But I like to make theories on the little things.
  5. Bounty Hunter. I can say this unbiased, as I have played through KotFE KotET about four different times on separate classes. The Sith Warrior was great, and fits it very well thematically, but something about the Bounty Hunter playthrough I just loved. A Mandalorian who lost everything and lacks the ability to use the Force, trying to return stability to the galaxy and becoming the commander of an Alliance. Getting Gault and Torian back was great too. Just wish they'd return Mako... But yeah, that's my favorite class for KOTFE and KOTET (and in general really).
  6. Okay, thanks. And I know for sure that my romance with Lana is broken. In interactions it states that we ended our relationship, and I replayed chapter 16 and had no flirt options with either of them.
  7. Well, I just messed up. Bad. I'm not actually a new player. Come June I'll have been playing for two years. But as big of an easily-avoidable mistake this was, it probably belongs here. When I first played my Sith Warrior, I romanced Vette. As long as I've played this game, I never thought to subscribe. I only first subbed a month ago after beating multiple classes. A decision I did not regret. When I played KotFE on my SW and found I could romance Lana as a companion, I rushed into it without thinking. Later, I regretted choosing her over Vette. Anyway, I didn't think anything could be done, so I moved on to my Bounty Hunter and beat every expansion. It's now my main character. The problem occurred when I decided I wanted to continue my Warrior after KotFE. I decided to play part of KotET on my Warrior before getting involved in the next character. When I noticed I could replay Chapters, I got excited. I thought I could just go back to Chapter 13 and choose Vette over Lana. What a great freaking idea that was. It obviously didn't go well, or this thread wouldn't be up. I got the warning message, completed my reuniting with her, and beat the Chapter. Then I broke up with Lana. Yay! All is well. If you want a happy ending I suggest leaving now. No? Okay. Well, turns out instead of continuing my romance with Vette (as I had previously ended things with her), it only broke my relationship with Lana. Now I have no one. Apparently, it doesn't reconcile romances. Only ends them. I had already broken Vette's heart, and now all I did was throw Lana in the mix. Yep, now Lana thinks I got back with Vette, and vice versa. Good job me, you broke the dang game. Fortunately, I don't care /too/ much what happens to my Warrior. Better to learn a lesson on an alt than my main. I'm surprised they gave me the option at all. New players, don't make the mistake I did. Don't be a Jack. Jack screws up. But I didn't just post this as a complaint or warning. If anyone has a way to fix this, I would really appreciate it. I suppose I could always make a new Warrior, but that would take a while. And I'd rather not spent two weeks trying to level a new Juggernaut, especially if it is fixable. I'm not going to die because one of my alts broke his romance, but that doesn't mean I don't want to fix it if I can. Please let me know if you can help. Sorry, long-- I know. I'm a thorough guy. All my threads are like this...
  8. (Spoilers. Obviously...) I actually enjoyed most of KotFE and KotET. I just finished it on my BH, I'm about to start KotET on my warrior, and I'm halfway through KotFE with my SI. But, with the BH class being my all-time favorite, one thing really bothers me more than anything else. Absence of Mako. Okay, hear me out. I know there are a lot of amazing companions that have yet to return. Khem Val, Kira, Doc, Risha, etc. Mako is just another great companion that has yet to make her debut in a future expansion. What bothers me is her mentioning in dialogue with Torian. When you talk about her briefly with Gault, there is an option to ask about her where you seem deeply concerned about her. Then you see Torian. He literally tells you EXACTLY what planet she's on and that he's been hunting with her until called by Mandalore. NO BIG DEAL. YOU ONLY KNOW THE RELATIVE LOCATION OF MY LONG LOST WIFE AND PROBABLY KNOW HOW TO CONTACT HER but it's fine yeah we gotta dethrone Arcann. So you can argue that 1. it's an entire planet and 2. we're busy with the Alliance. But like I said, Torian probably knows her location on that planet if they stayed a team after all that went down. This is different from other interactions with past companions. Torian actually knows where she is. It's made clear that most companions broke up the team and lost contact, but it can be assumed that Torian and Mako still have a way to keep in touch. So why haven't we seen her as of yet? I'm giving BioWare the benefit of the doubt and assuming they have some big plan for her to hold out on us like this. Same with adored companions like Kira. But come on-- Mako is an incredible slicer, and now you're the Emperor/Peacekeeper of the Eternal Empire. Information can't run that slowly. "Hey Mako your dead husband/partner (if you didn't romance her or played female) is like the most powerful person in the galaxy now." I just hope we see her and hopefully a few other fan favorites in the next expansion. I know there are reasons for having us wait. It just didn't sit with me right that we pretty much know where she is already and can't go looking for her. Or that she's an amazing slicer and couldn't find us (the leading rebel of an Alliance against the most powerful Empire in the galaxy. Come on Mako, step up your game). I didn't do much research on this other than dissect the dialogues and play the entire BH class. I apologize if there is something I missed or screwed up. Any thoughts?
  9. It worked! Thanks for your help. That was really starting to bother me.
  10. Thank you for the feedback. I'll just have to wait for them to bump me past the conversation.
  11. The first two paragraphs can be skipped unless you want more details. I've been playing SWTOR for almost two years now, and I adore the game. About three months ago, I returned after taking a break, and played the new expansion on my completed characters. Now with the 250% EXP Boost, I decided I was going to attempt to finish the classes I never got to. I was doing well. I took out the first three easily. Then Imperial Agent came. Despite all the great things I had heard about the Imperial Agent class, and my admitted bias toward the Imp faction, I never bothered to try it. It didn't look all that appealing. Obviously, I was wrong. In a matter of hours I beat the prologue. I was ready to continue and hyped to do so. Then the issue occurred. I had just finished my mission on Korriban ("Darth Zhorrid Arrives"). I took a shuttle back to my ship. It told me to use my holoterminal. When I activated it, there was a pause. When the dialogue finally finished loading, all that could be seen was a distant hologram of Watcher Two looking down at my character. No one said a word, no "choice wheel" (I think that's what you call it?), and I couldn't do anything. When I pressed escape, the conversation ended. I tried EVERYTHING. I moved planets. Nope. I left my ship. Ha, no. I reset the phase. Nothing. I reset the entire freaking mission. You guessed it, didn't work. I did some research and apparently other players had the same problem. Unfortunately I never got a valid answer as to what to do. People have tried making a new character, and had the same issue at the exact same point in the story. Re-installing doesn't help either. It seems attached to my account. I never got a response on my In-Game support ticket. This has never happened to me before and it's getting on my nerves. I really want to play this class because of all the good reviews on it. No other character on my account has had this problem either. I don't know what to do about it anymore. Any help, advice, or feedback would be helpful.
