  1. I would have to ask you what level crafting do you have that you can make the invasion supplies.. Except for biochem, all of the crafting skills have had their recipes modified so that the war supplies require 5 different grades of item. you need to have crafting level 550 in order to be able to craft the grade 9 mats. Except for bank toons I cant see any reason to max crafting level a low level toon. When you first receive the skill at level 150, you get a skill which requires 550 level mats .. (grade 9) .. now like i think i said, if you can have those mats given to you, or you can purchase them.. then that is good .. you can craft the items, but if you do not have access to generous friends or guild or a flow of cash, then this option is not available. For that reason I would think that having the old recipes back would be preferable. I do hope that you respond with this vigor about hyperbole on every other forum message in this forum, as I evidently made a mistake by not clarifying my position.. I did not know that I had to be clearer than I was in some ideas I had. I will try to thoroughly research better next time and present a university degree level essay if that makes you feel better. Or .. since this is just a suggestions page I could just post the ideas I have, and be done with it.. Tay
  2. I've played a number of MMOs across my 30 plus years of gaming and SWTOR is the most adaptable game I have played in that time though there are a few things I feel would make the game even more playable and fairer to all levels of play. 1. The recent changes to Crafting for conquests has made it impossible to craft invasion supplies due to the fact that as a low level character while one learns the skill to make say Starship Weapons, the material requirements cant be crafted by that character until cybertech 550, due to the fact that some of the parts are not craftable until then. Only those flush with cash or considerably generous friends would be able to acquire the other materials needed to be able to manufacture even the most basic war supply item let alone the Invasion forces themselves. I believe that putting back the original recipes would enable lower level players to resume contributing toward the conquest achievements. Perhaps the current 5 material recipe could remain, but also put in a series of higher quantity requirement recipes for the lower level materials. 2. Occasionally I browse through the collection gallery and come across some items there, pets, mounts, gear, that appeal to my characters but making a list off my computer or switching screens to type out the list of what i'm looking for is extra time consuming and assumes I remember to look for that item. I would like the ability to keep a list of favorited items in my collections tab.. it could be as simple a check box like with the mounts and pets favorites list, with the ability to choose 5-10 items. My thoughts are if an items is linked in chat, or appears as a drop or seen in the GTN, a symbol might appear next to it indicating that its on my wish list. 3. In Space Combat sometimes it does not feel like it is the character that is doing the combat. Perhaps a picture of our character's face in the panel where the shields and energy info are would make the game feel a bit more personal. 4. Finally there is the contacts page. The alerts are a good thing to have at the start but once your character has been around a while you are totally familiar with what alerts there are and dont want to see them all the time. Also I have just a small number of contacts I need to have up constantly, so I often find myself collapsing all of the above folders just to get to the contact I want to visit (such as the main ones on odessen). When it is time to go to the next one I have to do it all again. I would like to be able to either reorder the lists so that the contacts list I want to see all the time is right there, or maybe have a number of contacts I can set as favourites. Some of these things are interface items and I dont think would require a complete overhaul of the system but if they are too hard to implement oh well.. Thanks for your consideration Niceu
  3. I get that a lot of people have been playing for a long time but as a player that has a number of lower level characters, and as an avid crafter for conquest, It is annoying that the recipes for conquest have changed, especially for lower level characters. I'm not flush with cash and I have never before needed to use the GTN to acquire missing bonded attachments before. It used to be that you could participate in conquest as soon as you had a crafting skill at 150, as the item requirements were usually just about 6 or 8 of each of a level 2 and 3 bonded attachment. The quantity requirement was high but that was not an issue. My new jedi knight now has to have 4 of most of each odd or even level up to grade 9 items before I can craft even 1 invasion supply item. It is a bit tricky to level to 550 on a level 25ish character. These changes make it impossible to participate in the crafting aspect of the conquest at the lower levels, or even to farm up items to make for my higher level characters to make the invasion supplies. I realised I had a gap in my characters for Artificing and Synthweaving, meaning that Holocrons of Strategy and Crystal Capacitors I could not craft for the invasion item. But shortly before this patch launch I started levelling a couple new characters to cover those skills but they can not participate in crafting without the recipes to just make the holocron or capacitors with lower level supplies. Please give us back the ability to make holocrons or capacitors even with larger numbers of the lower level bonded attachments. Niko
  4. When I click the forum link from the main page, while logged in, all the forums except Bug Reports and Suggestions Box are visible in the list. I have to use a search bar to find either forums. Would it be possible for the powers that be to make these two and any other useful support forums to be made visible for us? We can easily find them through the search feature but it would be even easier to just have access from the main page. Tay.
  5. I have arthritis and do find the tiny icons for some things annoying, for example the tiny exit phase button. I use K for crew skills and N for Utility points/combat proficiencies, and i've remapped a few other keys (R for run) and I tend to do that for all my MMO's same rough keybinds for the same skill types. As far as pain levels go, I find that the more fine motor mouse movements I need to do to use abilities, like having them on a bar and clicking them rather than keybinds, the more my pain levels increase and therefore the less gaming I can do. I often have to take a movie break just to give my joints a rest. Tay.
  6. Grade 2 Bioanalysis Mission: Twisted Evolution incorrectly offers Abundant Yield: Grade 5 Medical Equipment. Should be Grade 2 medical equipment (it actually presents grade 2 equipment).
  7. I'm a long time WoW player and made extensive use of the macro system there, but although its a little disappointing that there's no macros I can live with that. It would be nice if more in game abilities could have key binds associated with them even if they aren't on by default. Personally on all the characters i play on wow, if they have a disenchant or milling skill, or any skill that requires you to cast a spell and then select an item in your inventory, I use a key bind or macro to make it easier. It would be much easier to have a Reverse Engineer key bind for example. Sometimes my hands are significantly sore and clicking the tiny box for reverse engineer becomes difficult. I guess having other more quality of life key binds would make the game more attractive also to people with disabilities. There seems to be only half of the possible skills and in game functions as key bound or bind-able. Tayoran
