Sorry for the self-bump, but I found the Dulfy guide on End-Game Color Crystals (http://dulfy.net/2012/05/07/endgame-color-crystals-post-1-2-and-how-to-obtain-them/), which answered my questions above. Although...since this guide is referencing end-game crystals...what about the lower-level ones? I searched the GTN the other day and found +31 Purple and some other low-level Orange crystals (both colors were artifact or prototype grade...I can't recall which specifically) that were made by players (had the "Made by _____" label). Would these lower-level crystals be learned via schematic? If so, what drops these? Bosses/crew skill missions? Thanks in advanced.

Hey all, I have a number of questions regarding crystals through artifice...all the information I've seen throughout these forums (and elsewhere) seems to either have no definitive yes/no answer, or be out of date and may not still be applicable. Sorry if these are duplicated questions.. 1. Are Purple and Orange crystals craftable? I've read that they used to be in game, and people mention that they can be crafted, etc... I read that high-level schematics drop from world bosses (Tattooine, Belsavis, whatever)...but what about the lower-level (or higher if applicable) schematics? 2. Can you learn a schematic of whatever I Reverse Engineer? I understand the Reverse Enginnering flow of Linear/Prefix paths, but say, I find an Advanced Color crystal... Would I be able to RE that and learn the schematic of said crystal? (I assume the answer is no given the Linear progression of RE'ing......). Another example, I've seen on Torhead Orange low-level crystals...specifically a green-level Orange Fortitude (+1 Endurance)...is the only way to craft this (assuming it's craftable) by learning a schematic, or can I RE this to learn the green-level item, instead of the blue-level? 3. Are the Black-Core PvP crystals (black-red, black-blue, black-orange, and black-purple) craftable? If so, I assume they're learned via schematic? I haven't seen anywhere that says specifically that they are craftable or not... I might have more questions, but that's all I can think of at the moment ...Any help to this noob would be highly appreciated! Cheers.
