I lost a companion (Ashara) because I picked her up before 4.0 and I suspect because I didn't complete the whole set of the class mission on Taris all parts of that mission, including the companion, were lost. I created a CS ticket about it and they told me there was a bug that would need an update to fix and there was nothing they could do. So I am out one companion and have no idea where to start my class mission up again. The only thing I could suggest is comb the whole planet and see if you can find someone with with a class quest. I still haven't covered all of Taris in my search for my class quest. It may be we need to wait for an update...or just need to search better

My upper 30s madness sorc has finished all but the last part of the class quest on Taris (the last part being where you go back to your ship). I had Ashara and played with her for a while. I was sticking around Taris to finish all the bonus quests before I head back to my ship to finish that phase of the class quest when 4.0 came. When I logged in after the update.... Ashara was gone. My class quest was gone. I wen to my ship...some chatting with the other companions but nothing else. I went back to Taris but haven't found a place where to pick up my class quests yet. So I created a CS ticket... CS got back to me about Ashara. They said it was a bug, it would take an update, and there was nothing CS could do. Bummer So I stopped playing my sorc. Now? Not sure. I was really enjoying my madness. I kind of lost interest in the game. Which seems odd since I still enjoy the game. I'm just wacky that way I guess.

CS answered my ticket. They've acknowledged a bug. It will take an update to get Ashara and my class quests back. My sorc is going to be shelved. Shame too. I was enjoying playing him. After I got the news last night for CS intried to play others chars but...they're just not the same.

Ashara seems lost to my inquisitor. I am done with every non-heroic mission Taris, she is in my codex/persons of note, I had her as a companion for at least 1 full day, and now she does not show up in the "Companions & Contacts" window.

My madness sorc was level 40 on Taris. I had Ashara and was just finishing up some quests on Taris I missed. The update came and Ashara is now gone. On top of that I could have sworn I had a class quest to go back to my ship and I cannot find that quest. My thinking was that maybe when I get Ashara changes in the quest with the update but I do not seem to have the quest...I think. Anyone happen to know what happens? If I was home I'd finally visit my ship to see what happens if anything...but I won't be home til late tonight.
