I am no math expert but anyone can plainly see adding six more crates to the hypercrates wasn't done to benefit the customer, they raised the price which means you have to spend more REAL money to buy cartel coins. You can't possible believe we are that stupid. I buy at least one and sometimes two or three hypercrates a month and I really like getting the chance cubes but I had noticed a drop in the value of the items showing up in the past month or so. When I logged in tonight and saw the price of the hypercrates I decided to fight back with my wallet. If you are unhappy with the increase in price, then either don't buy them or wait for them to go on sale. Hopefully they will get the message. And yes, I am well aware there have been plenty of threads about this. Well what did they expect? This is how companies price themselves right out of business. Bad decisions.

Last time I contacted customer support it was to ask a simple question: I had changed my payment information and had somehow accidently "unsubbed". I am paid up until August but had planned on keeping the subscription going. All I needed to know was which lousy button to push to fix where I had cancelled my sub but no...I got a formatted response from one of their "Droids", good description since it might as well be, telling me anything to do with an account had to be done by phone. They also suggested I learn how to use Google phone or Skype. Um...no, I am not making a long distance phone call, nor am I using Skype or any other technology just because they refuse to answer a question which required no discretion. Since they couldn't be bothered offering proper customer service they don't need my money and I won't bother renewing my sub when it runs out. You have to remember EA has some of the worst customer service of any gaming industry. I came over to SWTOR because I was fed up with WOW but at least Blizzard still has excellent customer service, the best I have ever come across. So I guess I will just go back to spending money over there.

Oh it's weird all right and really frustrating. It is only my gaming icons too, the Battle.net launcher for Wow,( that was an easy fix to just reinstall) and every other game I have. I have tried everything I can think of to get them to go back but no way, nothing doing. This happened last time I unstalled my Corel PSP software too and I remember the only way to resolve it then was to reinstall the software but noooo that is not working this time. I am running Windows 8.1 if that makes any difference but I am at my wit's end with this. Right now my SWTOR launcher looks to be just downloading and reinstalling. This is ridiculous.

Oh I do thank you for responding, my game is already installed but the icon for the launcher had become corrupted and I had no idea how to replace it. Is the icon stored somewhere? I thought I could just reinstall the launcher but now it is trying to reinstall the entire game which is not needed. I am sorry if I am not being clear.

Seems there is no technical support forum here and be darned if I am going to wait a couple days for some robot to tell me I have make a long distance phone call, so I am hoping some tech savvy player can help: a couple days ago I uninstalled my old copy of Corel PSP X2 and upgraded. (it's photo editing software) This took away all my desktop gaming icons, they are all blank, what a mess. Apparently its a known issue with that software. So here's where it concerns SWTOR, last night I tried just reinstalling the game launcher but now it wants to reinstall the entire game. Oh for goodness sakes. I have been all over the internet, in the Corel forums, every place I could think of to try to restore my icons, my brain hurts. Does anyone know how I could just reinstall the SWTOR game launcher without having to download the entire game, which is still there, I just cant access it. What a pita. Please help if you can.

Oh I find it blinding on Hoth too, I always wonder why developers don't think of the effects playing in those bright environments will have, heachaches, irritated eyes etc. It's beautiful, just should come with sunglasses or tinted windows. I also like the comment above yours regarding the other homeworlds. A cliffside overlooking the academy, awesome idea!, or a nice decadent palace. Yup. That apartment with the constant rain gets to me pretty quickly and I cant even enjoy decorating it, although I get it, its not supposed to be bright and shiny. However I live in the Pacific Northwest and we get enough of that kind of weather all winter so I tend to shy away from it ingame. I love all these ideas. The developers seem to put so much detail and effort into the environments in this game and new strongholds would be so exciting.

I would like to give the company the benefit of the doubt and not think they want to get as much cash out of us as they possibly can before releasing a five-pack of the latest crates but I find it a little suspicious that they would wait until after we will have used up our monthly allotment of cartel coins. Colour me paranoid and/or suspicious but most of us would get 600 cartel coins, and with anything that was left over, might just have enough to buy a Supercrate without having to spend any extra cash to get the new crate. I wonder if the powers that be decided to hold off on making that available at the beginning of the month. That would be deplorable since people like myself would spend the money anyway and don't like obvious ploys to get us to spend more. Maybe I am just old and jaded but what other explanation is there? Hey if I am wrong, I apologize but I do tend to watch for that sort of thing.

I've had one for about a month and they told me the same thing, it will be fixed in a later patch. Be sure to report it as a bug, hopefully they will get to it soon. Happy New Year everyone.

I have the same issue and I see there are several on the GTN that look exactly the same, grayed out, everything undefined. I am guessing people who buy them are going to find themselves unable to use them.

I am trying to put one of the Zakuulan tech decorations up for sale and it keeps telling me it is bound. It is not bound, it is in the inventory and I have not clicked on it. I am guessing this must be a bug. Its the zakuulan tech wall panel. I think I need to open a ticket for it. this happen to anyone else?

I just started a new guild stronghold, wanted to decorate and the first thing I did wrong was, I had added my decorations to my inventory not knowing that would make it impossible to put in the guild stronghold. Okay, lesson learned. Then I went to the Cartel Market, spent a thousand coins to buy the utility bundle, didn't bind it this time but now the stupid things won't go in the donation box for the guild bank because it says it is bound to me for one day 12 hrs. Oh for goodness sake. Now what? When that time is up, will that stuff be able to go in the guild bank so I can use it in the guild stronghold? I don't mean to sound grumpy I just need to know how it works, seems a bit clunky this way. Help please.

While I was waiting for todays download I did some research to get some information to help our new guild. We are a small group who came over from Wow and my friends asked me to be guild leader which is great but it is also a first for me. I managed to get a guild stronghold set up and a bank. Where do I go for some good tips on how to generate income for the guild, that sort of thing? Also I would love to buy guild banks from the cartel market for each of my friends and gift them so they can have them in their own strongholds, Can I do that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
