  1. okay, I read the below and thought it was all flashpoints, but I guess it is just the story ones. Flashpoints For Flashpoints, we have made quite a few changes to give you more options on what to play, and how to play them. For starters, all of the Flashpoints which are important to the core story have had a Solo Mode added, similar to what we did for the Forged Alliances Flashpoints. Also, those Solo Modes are repeatable, so you can play through them again if you want!   2. Okay, I have run all over the galaxy, searched and search, spent way too long looking, can anyone please tell me how to start solo mode flashpoints. Why is it so cryptic how to find them. All I see are tactical or hard mode, but only solo on a few (which I have already done). My character is level 65, so I should be able to see them or so I am told. If there a list I am missing or some way of finding out where they start?

  4. Is there any way of seeing how much of each level you have achieved? Like maybe a check list? Haven't seen one, but sure would be cool.
  5. Wait, that can't be true because everyone's points would cancel each other out. Does anyone know for sure you need 2 characters to get through Eternal Level?
  6. I am a little confused, and also have a question. For the Eternal Level do I need one Light Side char and one Dark Side char, or one or the other? Do I have to level 2 characters one light and one dark, or do they just have the path for each in the guide?

  10. Wow, umm back to my original thought ... Do we know they are bound to the model? And if so I guess they could replace the model with one that can be dressed. I am kind of suspicious of which is another reason I am wondering if those companions may be going away at the end of KOTFE ?
  11. But it does limit the Role Play by not allowing you to dress your companion in the same or similar out fit. Maybe my trooper wants Lana to were a republic uniform so she can sneak into pub territory?
  12. I am aware I may have missed this and if I did please look away from my shame. Has there been any official word on if we are going to be able to put outfits on the new companions? If not would a viable theory be that those we can not add outfits to will be gone after KOTFE ? And if that is the case what is the point in feeding them gifts if they are going to be gone?
  13. I would love to see an icon on the map that shows where the planet exit is. So the space port or shuttle would have the same icon. I have all my character slots filled and switching from one to the other, I often forget how to get off the planet I am on.
  14. Wow, I guess it is true, someone will always find a reason to complain.

What I am saying is, yes you test and test, but when there are factors like player style and equipment and buffs and many other factors that we don't know, you do your best and publish and then tweak. And if you remember they also removed companion equipment as a factor which plays into the balancing. I understand it may be hard to grasp from a user point of view having no reference point.
  16. As a software engineer I can tell you the only true way to test is to release it into production. Do you expect them to have thousands of testers that can run hundreds of player styles to make sure everything is perfect? We would never see anything get fixed. I applaud their effort and it is refreshing seeing devs that will listen to the community.

I know everyone is upset over companions, but take it from an old Star wars Galaxies player, it is kind of nice to have devs that at least seem to be interested in what the community has to say. The team at SWG didn't even pretend to care. They did the opposite of what the community wanted every time and rubbed it in our faces. As a result they kill a really cool game. I know things may not go the way you were hoping, but at least the devs are trying. Give them a little time to tweak companions, don't jump on them the first shot take at it. They completely reworked how they work and probably have some tweaking do it.
