Thanks for the suggestion, done that. Not so much because I'm particularly worried about my account, I'll just watch the bonus chapter on youtube I suppose, but if it happened to me, it can happen to other people as well. And I imagine people will be pretty damn pissed if they fork over 15 bucks a month for 7 months in a row only to have the system cancel their subscription right before they get their reward.

Update! Ingame reply As expected the customer support was completely useless and their answer basically sums up to "You were not a subscriber at date X, therefore.." It doesn't matter that their system cancelled my subscription because of an error on their end, because I was not subscribed for a few days because they failed to notify that they cancelled my subscription, I am now no longer eligible to get the bonus chapter. Well, in that case there's no more reason to stay subscribed, as I couldn't care less about the HK equipment doodads. I'll simply cancel my subscription, resubscribe when they've released all chapters and play them then, and I strongly recommend everybody with a paypal subscription who is only staying subscribed for the bonus chapter to do the same.

Image As you can see, after a pretty long break from the game, I resubscribed at 2015/11/07 to see the new content from 4.0. The main reason I stay a subscriber now is because of the promised bonus chapter. The other subscriber perks are funny, but hardly something I would stay a subscriber for. That is, until 2016/02/06. As you can see, the payment status says "failed", which resulted in my subscription being terminated. I was never notified of this so I didn't even realize it until I tried logging in when the new chapter was released. I contacted customer support by phone, who looked at the logs and said that bioware's systems had attempted to reach Paypal for the payment and an error occurred. As a result, no payment was made and my subscription was canceled. No big deal you might think, you can simply get a new subscription and move on with your life, but no. I am now no longer eligible for the bonus chapter because "I wasn't subscribed for the entire time", through no fault of my own. He suggested I make a ticket ingame to get my bonus chapter eligibility restored, which I did, yet after a week I haven't gotten any response. Odds are that if I ever get a response within the next 2 months, it'll simply be that they can't help, so I'm planning to cancel my subscription if I haven't had a positive response yet by the time my next subscription payment comes around. Long story short, if you're hoping for that bonus chapter, you better hope you're not using Paypal or bioware's systems might decide that you don't deserve it enough.

I watched until "all events back to back to back, just in case people did have problems with them". At that point I just burst out laughing. Yes people did have problems with them, because they didn't work. Way to admit that the Rakghoul event and Bounty Hunter event didn't properly trigger at all.

Worth noting is that you can also get locked out of romancing the most boring option out of the 3, Koth, by being a darkside douchebag. If you blow up the reactor and refuse to help the settlers and maybe something else darkside (I was on a darkside run), you can go "I'd like to talk to one of you in private." flirt and he'll be all "Not me, I know that much. I only put up with so much blablabla emo blablabla."

Yeah, because 25GB of 3d models, textures, sounds, voice acting and music is causing a server-side issue. Somewhere there's a boolean that says rakghoul_event_tatooine that should be 1, and is now 0. It's most likely pretty low on the to-do list however, so nobody bothered to toggle it back to 1.

This makes zero sense. What do you expect bioware to do, not add any story whatsoever to the raids, because you'll be upset you don't see the cutscenes if you can't raid? All the operations contain story...

This logic is false, the devs have stated that all heroic 2+ should be doable solo, as your companion counts as the second person.

No clue, I couldn't keep my party alive through the acid spitting, and I've done hardmode raids where I can keep people alive just fine. Perhaps the smuggler DPS was a bit undergeared because she was taking a lot more damage than the rest of the team from the spit, but I could only keep people alive through the acid spit by burning 90% of my mana on spam healing. Edit: Actually, the difference might be that you're a sawbones healer, and I'm an healing sage. While sages are far better at handling single target healing than sawbones, they're downright garbage when it comes to healing multiple people taking taking high damage at the same time, which sawbones excels at.

This place seems way over-tuned for what should be pre-raid content. Everything hits like a truck and the third boss is almost impossible to outheal when he jumps on the pipes and spits poison at everybody. I get that one hardmode is harder than the other, but this one seems a bit out of whack with the rest. What's the point in having content that drops blue 200 rating gear, when you need at least 216 to even pull of the instance?

Sure, why not. I assume it'll just be scenery we've all seen before, with models we've all seen before, so it's not like a lot of work will go into making something fun and gimmicky for the subscribers. It's something to keep the mission designers busy while the art teams work on stuff.

This entire post pretty much sums up to "somebody with masterlooter on stole some purples and now I'm angry, bioware please do something about it".

This seems a bit harsh. He didn't say just PvP, he said "PvP, Operation, MMO Content". As in content that is fun if done repeatedly, instead of something you do once and never again. (such as the story content added in these chapters.)

This makes zero sense. People complain because they are passionate about something and want it to be changed. People who don't give a **** don't pay money for a game.
