  1. Well, first you can try reading the first post in this thread. The op did a great job listing how to get almost all of the then known pets. It does not cover the newer pets. second you can try to not be so vague. What pet or pets did he get for free? Are those pets listed on the front page of this thread? if so, there is your answer. If they are not, list the ones he got free and we can help.
  2. well if your on an rp server, im walking along, and I see you (the opposing faction) trying to kill my allies. what would you have me do? Ignore my allies who are in distress? Maybe you would. Not I. Since I cant attack you, I can heal my allies. stop crying and move on. This is no different than standing in a group of your allies, telling your companion to go attack an enemy, and aggroing your allies on the enemy.
  3. Hello I am looking for a sith guild for eventual end game content. I have been playing since launch but have been focused on the repulic the whole time. I wanted to start working on the sith side and would like to find a mature guild for end game ops and leveling in between. I currently have a few low level (not for long) sith toons and one 50. If you have a republic side guild that would be a plus. Thanks

Was just wondering, I have not been able to try this, if you are in a ops group but not in an ops instance (say, running around alderaan) and someone kills and on level enemy npc, does everyone in the ops get xp for the kill or only those in the players group? if everyone gets xp, is it divided up or does each person get full xp?
  6. You can always try and buy them from their web sites. They may have a digital version where they just email you a code. I just checked their web sites and nothing is up yet, but keep an eye out.
  7. Well at least when you update all you have to do is cut and paste "available in cc pack" I will be at the cantina tour in los angeles and at SDCC i plan on asking them out pets for us. I wonder if any Dev's are reading this anymore? Hey Dev, mod, CS agent, Bioware employee can you answer a question for all of us pet collectors: Will you be adding any more pets to the game that are aquired like the orokeets or taun fawns? ie questing, hidden, secret stuff?
  8. Really? we have to buy cc cards to get the pets? ugh.... well i hope they end up on the gtn. I wont be buying any cards... if anyone gets one on the potf server hit me up ill buy em from ya! I miss hunting for the pets. The figuring it out. Looks like its cartel market or nothing now. this makes me sad oh are they sellable or bound on aquire?

  12. Exactly! The idea could always be modified and restricted to classes you have already leveled to 50. As for missing the story etc.. etc.. what about those how have already done the story multiple times? what about those spacebar warriors who have been there done that? I dont believe its pay to win. As per my suggestion you need legacy lvl 50 (which could be done without actually having a lvl 50 toon, but comeon, really how many people out there have that?) and per my suggestion it would be restricted to a one time deal and the toon has no gear no companion etc.. If it were implemented with the restrictions I suggested it would not be a reward for lazieness. You couldnt just create an account and bingo have a 50 or level to 30 get bored and skip to 50.
  13. I started a thread about this same thing, before I found this one. I support this idea, BUT i think there needs to be a large set of restrictions. Here is what I posted in the other thread: 1. the account would need to be at legacy level 50 or higher. 2. this would be a one time purchase per account. 3. no quests would be complete. and no companions would be earned. (player would need to go back and do all of that if its wanted) 4. new toon could be any class or race (that you have unlocked). 5. would cost something like 2200 cc for premium, and 1100cc for subs (if not free even) 6. you could even tie it into the coming legacy achievement system. Say you need 2500 ach points as well. My reasoning for this idea is this, if you have a legacy that is at 50 or higher, its safe to assume you have already done the majority of the class stories. You have probably leveled multiple toons. This would be a reward for players who have invested a lot of time into the game. Personally, I dread leveling another toon even though i want more crafters or want to roll another commando and go heals only (so I dont have to constantly respec). Just a thought Honestly to me, I enjoy the post 50 content more than the grind to 50. Mainly because I have done it 6 times. You can only do Taris or quesh so many times before you want to stab yourself in the eyeballs with a pen. IMO

  15. I like the idea of npc bounties. maybe have them be "legendary" char. that you need a group for. Hidden in different locations. Good idea. Possibly have them only spawn once a week. with no respawn. first to kill gets credit. And there should really be some kind of anti greifing mechanic. I do apologize if this has been discussed before. Im really not into searching 30 pages of threads! lol.
  16. How about putting a bounty board up on the fleets. The way I figure this would work is so... Its a totally voluntary system. Similar to a pvp flag, you have a bounty flag. Except unlike a pvp flag, there is no way other than adding or removing your name from the bounty board to toggle it. Regardless of what type of server, adding your name to the bounty board flags you for pvp with only other bounty hunters. it would be faction vs faction only. You could put a bounty of any amount of credits or items on any player of the opposing faction (who has also signed up for the bounty board) . Then as other players (who are also on the board) are adventuring or fighting in warzones, the first person to kill the player with a bounty, would be awarded the bounty and gain rep for the Bounty Hunters Guild. And to make things easier, the players that are hunting would get a "ping" on their minimap when a player with a bounty on them was "in the area". If a Player who has a bounty on their head, kills a bounty hunter, then said player would get rep with Outlaws Guild. To prevent farming or griefing, you would only be allowed to attack a specific bounty or a hunter once per day or something like that. In the Bounty Hunters Guild and Outlaw Guild you could offer rep rewards to make players who do well really stand out. Titles, cosmetic outfits, trophy cases for your ship, stuff like that. i think this would give the game a fun pvp aspect to it. What do ya think?
  17. I think this would be a bad idea for the "in game economy". Here is my reasoning why, (bear in mind im making some generalizations and assumptions) Lets say you make skill augments, normally your able to gather enough mats to make 5 augments in one session of play. you sell them for 30k each. average price. Add an app like you describe and after farming mats all day (while working, you know you would, I would!) when you log in now you are able to make 20 augments. As well there are 250 other people on your server doing the same thing. When you go to list your items on the GTN you will see (instead of 10 other augments listed for an average price of 30k) you will see 25 pages of augments with selling prices down around 5k. more quantity = lower prices which is what I think would happen to pretty much any item that makes money on the gtn. Would kind of kill any crafting IMO. now, if they were to implement a system like this, I think they would need to make the mission prices higher, possibly doubled, and the mission times longer. For example a scavenging purple mission that would normally cost you 3450 credits and take 1.5hrs to run, if run by the app would cost 7k and take 3hrs. Just thinking out loud here.
