  1. WOW!!! Please sticky this! Thank you to everyone who posted a tip no matter how "obvious" or complex.. I learned a lot.
  2. I laughed out loud here at work - thanks! Seriously, good post and funny to boot. ^^
  3. I don't think it's unreasonable to see the quest rewards when you accept a quest. How do you know if it's worth doing?
  4. Thank you all for the responses - I will update this later when I respec. This has been incredibly helpful.
  5. Well said! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way... I really love all the comments Qyzen makes and his personality. Okay, maybe I do like that he calls me Herald. I do have an attachment to him.
  6. Ewokinator - Thank you for the quick reply. I was embarrassed to post my build since it really doesn't make much sense, but here goes: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600RGbRRkMz.1 I really didn't know what I was doing so I made some fundamental flaws. This kind of system is new to me coming from FFXI and Aion - but now that I understand my class a bit better (between research and reading the great posts from other Sages here <3) that I need to respec. As far as what I'm aiming for at level 50 - not sure, since I really don't know what end-game is like in this game. As I said earlier, this kind of system where you could spec is great but a new concept for me. In Aion, for example, there were only two specs - one was DPS and one was healing. If you weren't the specific healing tree, good luck getting a PvE group. Not much customization as in this game so it's a bit overwhelming but in a good way. I'm trying to feel it out as I go along here. Currently, I do a lot of group activities with my small group of friends since we all joined together and I do a lot of warzones, too. I mainly just heal since Cleric/White Mage were my previous classes in the other games that I played. I love the fact that I have CCs and defensive skills as a Sage as well.
  7. Hi, everyone! I reviewed some of the healing/seer specs posted in this thread. I realized that I made somewhat uninformed choices with regard to my seer spec. For example, I put two points in Egress but it hardly makes any noticeable difference. It sounded useful on "paper" since I use Force Armor a lot but it seems worthless compared to other skills that I could be benefiting from. I guess you learn by trying but I want to respec - I'm level 31 by the way. The two specs I was particularly looking at: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GGdRbdbdGzZf00MZ0M.1 http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GhrRbdbdGzZfo0MZ0M.1 They have some discrepancies with pain bearer, wisdom, mind's eye, etc. Is there an "optimal" way to go? I know play style and preferences will make what is "optimal" subjective but hearing about how other people made their choices and why they made them help me tremendously. I could use some advice on how to spec myself for healing. Also, some advice on what order to allot points in since I'm not max level would be great. Thank you! ..and may the Force be with you! <3
  8. Report them - I dunno if it's doing any good but I keep reporting them. :\
  9. I'm at the vendor on Taris for companion customizations - nothing here for Qyzen. The Security Key vendor only seems to change his scales color. What happened to those outfit changes for Qyzen that I recall in beta?
  10. Oh, I suppose I have to find this Panteer Refuge then. Must be an undiscovered location. Thank you!
  11. It's a Heroic on Alderaan - it starts with Samara Organa but I can't locate that NPC.
  12. Wow, this forum is so active.. within two minutes I'm already on the second page. Anyone know?
  13. It starts with Samara Organa but I can't seem to find that NPC. Anyone know? Are there only three Heroics on Alderaan? I completed Special Delivery and Proof of Treason. Thank you!
  14. How do you "rest" if danger could be possible? Makes no sense.
  15. I wasn't - I had just arrived and I was killed. My question is - is the opposing faction allowed to be in Cantinas? Are they meant to be rest zones? If they're not I'll AFK somewhere else from now on.
  16. I agree, I didn't get one answer to my question. -_-
  17. I get the reference - but your PvP flag toggles off if you're in a Cantina long enough that's why I thought they were designated safe zones.
  18. I just thought the Cantinas were a safe rest zone since they are designated rest areas. If I'm wrong then I know for the future. I rolled on a PvP server because I like open world PvP but I thought it was safe to log out or AFK in a Cantina.
  19. I'm in the Shining Star Cantina on Alderaan and there's three 40+ Sith that just killed me. -_-
